So is there a fix coming to the extra character cards? I'd rather not blow 99k on a pack to get them.
Well earlier in the post it was said that the chargless acolyte probably won't be fixed untill next week so I would save your credits for now.

Fine by me, I've been saving credits for Reckoning anyway.

Too late for me
Also, I've got the extra experience points in characters again so I can max all the abilities in them even if they are at lvl 15. That one was fixed before right?

Bleh, accidentally bought a PSP even knowing about the character card issue and sure enough got a Saboteur and a Black Widow VIII. What if that was meant to be a double UR pack. Going to try to limit spending to JEPs only until this is fixed, don't want to risk getting something I already have.
Don't worry I can guarentee you, it was not going to be a double UR pack

But a rank four gear card would have been much better than a wasted character card.

Is it because ultra rare weapon drops are determined first separately from other items?

Now you fix the rocket glitch - which I love to hear. I hate glitchers. But, you also tell us that you are still going to re-nerf the guns. WHY? Out of spite? Incompetance? Or is it just to be obtuse and trifling? What is the purpose of making a gun good if all you are going to do is make up reasons to nerf it, fix those reasons, then re-nerf the guns?
It is most taxing to have to deal with this BS. You guys are wishy-washy.

Was you point that you missed the point? Man, do you ever get tired of ****ing about the balance changes? (hint: no need to answer either question, they were mostly hypothetical)Tonymac wrote...
I really wish you guys would make up your minds. You nerf stuff into worthlessness in order to fix the rocket glitch - that was the story you gave when you emasculated the gun.

In case you missed it, the Acolyte is currently uncharged, but with the stats of the charged version, due to the patch. No nerfing or buffing will occur. Just simply making it charged again when they can get around to it in the next few days.
Yup, that knee-jerk post sure made you look like just a jerk, with a knee.

The chargeless Acolyte actually fires slower than the charge version can be fired (if charged perfectly that is). So it actually has lower maximum DPS with the charge removed. I personally like the charge being removed, since I don't like holding the trigger down all the time, but I don't use it any more or less regardless of whether it charges or not.morph4037 wrote...
Ok and that has what to do with making the fire rate of a chargeless acolyte the same as an acolyte getting to full charge?
Bad example since I don't know the exact times but let's say the charged acolyte takes 3 seconds to get fire ready, now apply that to the chargeless acolyte and have it only fire every 3 seconds at the same power as the charged acolyte. Only difference there being no need to hold the key down for 3 seconds if they are both doing the same damage. >_>
Edit: If they nerf the damage IDC, I'm just tired of the charge part of it.
No one seems to notice that the beauty of chargeless Acolyte was that you could actually use your abilities between shots, which was great for adepts. Now having to charge the weapon and not being able to use any abilities defeats the purpose of taking it, or at least shooting more than one bullet once in a while.

Ah, I was just about to report getting gold character cards I had maxed
Say what?!?!? I get character cards I've maxed all the time on XBOX (gold and otherwise)!!! It's a big rip off and needs to be addressed. Are you saying there is a patch to deal with this?
The Acolyte needs to stay non-charged to be useful IMHO.

Nice idea.Mightyg wrote...
I propose a change to the acolyte. Press the trigger once to begin the charge and again to release. This way you can use it in cover, doesn't require you to keep your finger on the trigger and still keeps it a nuanced weapon to use and master.

As also mentioned you can shoot inbetween cooldowns which works out well.
The charge mechanics has some benefits, but as a caster gun it really should be more beneficial to them then not. Keep it as chargeless.
