Atlas needs shoulder mounted machine guns that shoots through cover and a Reegar blast firing from it's butt.

They're supposed to do that, it's intended behavior. Triple-hit shots on the other hand are not.

Very useful info nevertheless.

How much of penetration is needed for such multi-hits? Looks like >2.3M for triple and >1M for double hits?

it's pretty much 1.0M hits on cockpit area

1.5m is enough for scoring either double-hit or triple-hit shots. It's all about the area that gets hit.

Only possible by exploiting the triple hit.

Sirian's video is legit ...

Gold atlas 21k shields 23k armor

Roughfully (everything does double damage because of the 100% + debuffs )0.25 + 0.325 + 0.25 + 0.2 = 1.025

Per hit
6k phasic rounds vs shields
12k javelin weapon damage


=======================


First hit
6k
12k

Second hit
6k (atlas is out of shields 6k+12k+6k - 21k)
12k (hits armor)

Third hit
small damage from phasic vs armor
12k (atlas is dead) (12k+12k - 23k)

Also using ammo pack gear and poping all 8 at once (there is a small cooldown but you can activate 8 in less than 10 seconds) with self PM debuff - 1 hit on GI will do ~ 27k damage ... So no need for triple hit to down atlas in one shot.. A mundane double hit would do it ..

1 545.8 * (1 + 0.25 + 0.1) * (1 + 0.25 + 0.8 + 0.075 + 0.225 + 0.3 + 0.08 + 8) * 1.2 = 26870.0231

Imma guess with the triple hit it's possible on Platinum.

Just give the atlas the ability to cast 2 geth prime drones. increase it's homing - able to navigate a maze rockets more damage and DOT.
That should balance it for bronze, now for silver...

Btw I totally messed up in wave 1 and rocketed things too fast, consuming the budget too much for Atlases to keep showing up. :pinched:

phasic 3 did not do significant damage vs armor (1545.8 * (1 + 0.25 + 0.1) * 0.15 * 0.5 * 1.2 = 187.8147) but they did plenty to the shields and because of the (relatively recent) nerf to the shield gate enough damage from the first javelin (shield) hit bleeds trough on armor (~4000 * 1.2 * 0.25 = ~1200) ..
