Why does Morrigan even feel obliged to save the Grey Wardens life?
Is Morrigan going to continue Flemmeths Tradion or something?

She only makes her offer because in the end it would make her extremely powerful.  Flemeth was definitely a blood mage, using blood magic to extend her life.  By obtaining the blood of an old god,  blood mage rituals would be overly powerful.  Blood magic domination may even be powerful enough to dominate darkspawn minds.  Such power would make a person second only to the maker himself.

I can't really argue that. However, demons do an awful lot of dealing on the game. Nearly ever demon you encounter has a "deal". I'll give you the kid now if I can have them later sort of thing.

Flemeth being an elf doesn't explain how a horde of darkspawn can scurry right past her hut.

the old gods laid dormant and are only able to be revived by the blight. A great and powerful god is not the same as a demon and wouldn't really attend to the needs of a bickering woman.

I think it's just as simple as the reasons stated. To bring back an old god.

Edit: Now the purpose they have for that old god, Morrigan refuses to say.  I have a feeling that killing Flemeth is somehow tied into the whole thing as well and probably planned.

Says who? "Old Gods" are not true gods (nothing in game is, even Maker). Just powerfull spirits/demons/aliens...

there are things that distinguish spirits from other spirits;

demons consort with the mortal plane and wish to break through, they very readily expose thier true nature to everyone.

spirits work behind the scences influencing things but are just maintaing order

old gods are dormant dragons of which there are only two left

if flemmeth was a demon she would have show her glowing eyes or sometimes use her booming voice.

maybe she has the same case as Wynne but has leaned to control the spirit in her

...no.

Abominations do not have glowing eyes and booming voices (see Uldred before transformation). And if you speak to Morrigan, it seems that the original Flemeth subdued the demon.

:) It is not so simple. Demons can be hiding aswell (Like if you choose Desire Demon deal about blood magic), spirits may take direct action (Wynnes spirit powers) and Old Gods can be "god childs" and not just dragons. So nothing says Flemeth could not be possesed by "Old God" (But then again nothing says she is, so this is just speculation).

Which proves that possesed persons dont need to have booming coice, etc. Its just depends... And if you were possesed more powerfull being like "old god" then Im sure he could stay hiddens aswell (also possession might be wrong word. Maybe they jus have same sort of "deal" as Wynne/spirit).

How do we know she wasn't in dragon form when she saved you from the tower? I was certainly surprised to fight the dragon Flemeth. I was unaware that a shapeshifter could transform into something that powerful. Morrigan may have said Flemeth saved you as a bird but not necessarily a given.

well it would be the demons choice wheather or not to reveal itself and the persona of the 'vessel' would undergo a bit of a angry, proud kind of thing
the reason flemmeth is so hard to interpret is because her past remains unseen

Doesn't the pc get spirit help in the fade? I thought the spirits entered my character allowing me to shapeshift within the fade. Wouldn't this be the same as what Wynne had happened also?

Well here's another little bit of fuel to the fire.... What if Flemeth (Who can forsee he future) let the Warden kill her so she could Hitch a ride in the Warden's soul. When the warden Kills the Archdemon,

Flemeth And the Old Gods Uncorrupted Soul go to the Kid. So in Dying by the hands of the Warden, Flemeth gains the power of an Old God.

That is in the fade. Mortals can shape the fade.

Does Morrigan say why she can't fight Flemeth and did she ellaborate how Flemeth would come back. She said she would kill her over and over, but she didn't kill her the first time, I did.

So they gave you the ability rather than enter your body ? Didn't  know how that worked.
