Today's patch datamined. New Game Mode. Leaked DLC description is apparently true. (UPDATE: Files for new (to MP, not SP) weapons, mods and challenges found)

So I might as well comment on this at this point:
The new weapon mods are an obvious one.
The
SP weapons are less obvious. The tlk file just contains a bunch of
strings to be used in tooltips and for dialogue, however this patch's
tlk file contains a lot of Leviathan data which tells me that not
everything contained within it is MP specific. I would not confirm that
all 4 BPP, Executioner, Adas, and Venom will be added just yet(I'm not
saying that they wont be in the DLC, just that it's not a confirmation
simply because they're in this patch's files).
It is worth noting
that there is a challenge tooltip specifically for the BPP and
something called "Blood Pack Heavy Melee", which is most certainly a MP
thing.
There is also something called "Biotic Protector" but as the OP mentions, it's unknown as to what this is for.
The
thing about the Chakram Launcher being in a Reckoning file is because
that gun is called Reckoning in the game files and has always been since
launch, just as the Arc Pistol is called Thor or the Paladin is called
Ivory. It is believed that this gun will be added in the DLC, however.
and the big one... co-op modes
Honestly,
I see no evidence of them, unless I'm just missing something that the
guy in the other thread saw(This is a 4000 line file). What I assume is
that he saw a bunch of war assets that he did not recognize and thought
that this was tied to the rumoured co-op modes from the reddit leak. I
thought that at first until a quick Google search showed that they were
really just Leviathan assets that I didn't immediately recognize.
I can't find anything else that somebody might think is related to a new game mode.
As
with the weapons, this does not mean that there will be no new game
mode, however I would say it that there is not enough data to call this a
confirmation.

Dwpending on the content. I could run around the galaxy getting assets, and running from reapers for two hours. I don't know about you., though.eaglefan129 wrote...

Are you seriously suggesting that playing new single player content couldn't take 2 hours?eaglefan129 wrote...
well i do remember a tweet (sorry ur just gonna have to take my word on it the tweet was like from last year) from gamble suggesting "playing something that we've never done before" that 2 hrs later he was still playing u can only really do that with mp
it was the same thing for two hrs.. that's the difference

ANYWAY, back on topic.
I'm really eager to see what we get for the Salarians, my fingers are crossed for them to be the Helmetted STG you see in ME1 or the Eclipse Merc from ME2.
But the thing with that model is that the body is the same as what we have for our current Salarian kits, perhaps we could have a retextured or modified version of Mordin's character model with that same helmet...?
I'd imagine that would look pretty awesome.

More details. "The day of reckoning is nigh!" the description read. "The Reckoning Multiplayer Expansion brings six new never before seen co-op story missions to the game and new co-op gameplay modes. It provides four new maps to conquer and hazard variations of the Earth maps.
"It also enables reinforcement packs that offer new kits for the salarians, krogans, humans and volus. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Chakram Launcher, Blood Pack Punisher and Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle)."
The above weapons are recent additions to the single-player campaign which have been expected to make the jump to multiplayer (and, accordingly, TSA_383 found them during his/her explorations of today's patch). BioWare has also previously spoken of its desire to update maps from previous multiplayer expansion Earth as Hazard versions (so named for their harder nature and environmental hazards, albeit with higher rewards).
A co-op multiplayer mode using single-player data suggests scenarios linked to the Mass Effect 3 story, which could let players replay the game's major battles with friends.

Eurogamer is probably just re-linking (or rather re-iterating) the inconclusive Clevernoob forum posts and the unverified Reddit (so-called) leak as news. Must be a slow news day for gaming sites.
As my editor used to shout: "If we don't have news people, this newspaper doesn't sell, and we don't get paid!"

I'm not even going to bother replying to you because judging by your previous comments you obviously don't read others properly.
Also you use the word "Pwned" in a non-ironic sense.
Either way, it's interesting to see BioWare covering their tracks this time... They've hidden the goods well this time as nobody seems to be cracking it open.
I guess that means we're getting something pretty darn special this time...? I hope...?

I really hope this is not the case. But I am all for having separate new co-op story missions in multiplayer. Just not missions that you play in Singleplayer it would just seem strange, I guess it just imports your Singleplayer data into your Multiplayer profile.

Relax man, I'm just laughing a little with you (and making fun of your use of "IT"--an acronym so emotionally-laden on these boards--when wanting to emphasise "it").

But if you had been right, I would have appreciated it, like the "personally"

Whatever.
I am beyond caring any less about it anymore.
Seriously.
Can we please just stay on topic, this really has no need on being discussed any further.

Yeah, I will admit that does sound crazy. Also I am sure BioWare can think up better names than just "Zombies Act 1".
