From a strictly logical perspective:
If I asked you a question/made a statement, let's keep it simple, I claim that you are a male. (Yes I am claiming this to be a binary example of if you are male/female)
You have 4 options
1) State you are a male
2) State you are a not a male
3) Say Nothing
4) State you are a female

While 1 and 4 give you the most information, 2 will give you additional information 

2 will also give you the precedent that statements can continue to be made, and the possiblities will be widled down.

It's been established that there is more MP DLC, it's just not quoted often. I think there was a PM or something with Chris Priestly indirectly stating this, however, most of us forumites trust what OTS had to say about there being more, as his records were spot on.

I doubt he's doing damage control. I'm more inclined to say that he's doing a bit of psychological shenanigans.

If they shut the thread down without saying why?
People would start up dozens more threads about "Reckoning is coming! Woo!".
If they banned OneTrueShot or the other dataminers without saying why?
People would start up with "Well, clearly they knew something and were correct in posting it! Reckoning is coming, woo!".

But if they leave both avenues of information alone, people continue to speculate and be excited then if/when the actual information is released which completely shatters the assumptions that people had via the Reckoning speculation--bam, everyone gets excited over new content, the dataminers/OTS(or anyone else who has posted these kinds of speculative leaks) get discredited, and the community starts to be a lot more wary of these kinds of overly predictive leaks.

This guessing game has grown tiring. Either announce something or not, but don't spoon feed little bits of info that may or may not be pointless.

Maybe someone has the time to fritter away waiting on BW, but I don't.

It's not in production anymore, it's likely going through QA phases, verification, etc. 

Most of Edmonton has already switched over to DA3, and Montreal is in pre-production on "ME4"

EDIT: People, they provided teaser screenshots...what the hell do you need to confirm that there is DLC. 

The space bar thing is obviously SP DLC teaser and the Krogan w/hammer is obviously set on the MP map Goddess. What more do you need for confirmation? It's coming.

The entries for the 2 Challenges (Blood Pack Punisher Use and Blood Pack Heavy Melee Use) were already present in the DLC_UPD_Patch01 files.

The entries for the weapon mods (Ultralight Mod for Shotgun, AR and Sniper Rifle and the Power Magnifier for SMG and Pistol) are new.

Also there are no entries for the Executioner Pistol, Blood Pack Punisher, Adas and Venom in the old Patch files. At least I can't find any.

this is the buzz they want... why would they kill the thread lol. I'm sure whatever data was mined from the patch was put there by intelligent people, knowing exactly what they were "leaking."

Apart from some weapon mods; Yes.

All that stuff about the leak was mearly the guys opinion. It's clear from the other thread and he even came to this one to clarify it, and Cyonan also clarified that only the weapon mods and maybe some SP weapons are in the files.

All that crap about the Reddit leak is just this thread making up rubbish based on a picture of the Krogan.

I am really confused as to what more you guys want...they provided screenshots of 2 DLCs, one is obviously SP and the other is obviously MP. What more do you want to know? Then are likely finished, just going through QA/verification, and will be out soon. There is no need for further 'confirmation'. We have screenshots.

Past history of this type of thing shows that the company and people representing it are best served by sticking to their plan, confirming and denying nothing at all. People will always read into things and make assumptions and it often ends up morphing into 'You lied to us!'

If you have been on these forums long enough you know this to be true.

People are free to dig and speculate as much as they like but confidentiality rules and a roll out plan are important to stick to.
