ME3 MP isn't about "levelling" like an MMO. It's about playing with a huge combination of kits, weapons, mods, etc. and trying out new things. Some people stick to the same stuff over and over and that's ok, nothing wrong with that. But the Challenge system got a lot of players out of their comfort zones and has given us lots of goals to work towards besides manifest completion. If that's not your cup of tea, that's fine, but some of us have been playing this game since it came out and still love it (despite a myriad of frustrations). And yes, some of us have even made friends with other players and enjoy their company.
Anyway the question about why some of us still play in a thread about speculations for the next DLC hardly seems on-topic. It almost sounds rude to ask it at all in the MP forum. It's like going to a football club and asking everyone why they are there after the last game, why would they want to watch their team play another one? Of course we all still enjoy playing or we wouldn't be posting in this section.
Today's patch datamined. New Game Mode. Leaked DLC description is apparently true. (UPDATE: Files for new (to MP, not SP) weapons, mods and challenges found)

I doubt forums are the best place to find good samples of human psychology. Seems that most forum-goers leave a large part of their mind offline when coming here due to the safety blanket of anonymity.
Kinda like how a really plastered person is going to act pretty different than if he were sober.
...now I've confused myself. Is the "real" us, psychologically, when we're of our right mind, or when things like inhibitions and decorum are suddenly rendered irrelevant?

This multiplayer has been the gaming suprise of the year for me. The way it's been supported by the Bioware teams has been superb. Free DLC is not the usual thing, and it's really kept the game fresh and enjoyable. Generally the DLC packs have gotten bigger and better each time, so this last one could be the best yet. No lie, I hope we hear about it sooner rather than later, but if not then so be it. Be something to look forward to reguardless.

Without the complaining, all the BSN would have is a bunch of people posting stuff that can be summed up with "BioWare is GREAT, huh?" until most of them get bored and leave.Major Mittens wrote...
Having unreasonable expectations is a very easy way to get dissapointed. People love complaining around here when they get dissapointed.

I must agree and add something from me.
Why i still playing MP? Because Single Player is little booring for me now, after completing the game with Soldier, Adept and Engineer. Sure i making now save with sentinel, but it's not a point.
My point is here, because i love somekind of achievments or challenges, and Retaliation give me this! I just hope for more interesing challenges in future DLC, or maybe new achievments for single player, but not three only achievments. Yeah i'm somekind of achievment hunter, but i like it! Everygame what i played now, even Torchlight2 for example. I play for hunting achievments, i just like it.
But i only wish, see someday challenges for human classes, not only evacuations like for N7 characters, but for wave for vanila, cerberus and N7 characters.
But there is something i don't like in current MP.
When i start playing gold against the collectors, i see much lags really. I'm not sure is fault of internet of something else. But playing in gold against collectors, i have sometimes mini - high lags.

Having legitmimate complaints is fine, but when you condition yourself to get dissapointed by believing a leak that doesn't end up happening, you're not really helping.
