This. I think I remember the Retaliation trailer and DLC description saying nothing about Volus being in there.

That was the description used on the pack before you download it.

Biggest DLC yet, by far.

That isn't a surprise to me. I'm glad that clevernoob brought up the new modes that were mentioned around the Collectors era-dlc. It was an exciting concept and then it never showed up. Better late than never. Looks like the reddit leak WAS legit. Interesting. Bummer about the volus. Oh well, maybe it will be the best volus (voli?) kit released so far. Plus I'm just getting back into the Salarian Engineer, and I LOOOOOOVES me some Krogans, and new humans? Sure!

Can't wait!

Story coop missions sound doable, but I have no idea how they'd integrate paragon/renegade scores...unless you're playing as story characters at which point I'd be disappoint

Multiplayer means buying packs, unlockin characters etc. for me, not just story missions.

I think this is false. You need the full dev team to accomplish all the things mentioned (story mode co-op, new game modes, etc.). I think we all suspect by now that the full dev team is working on me4 and a skeleton crew is on me3.

At least we're getting something, though.. even if it's just new maps and new guns.

You don't want Female Turians!? Everyone wants them! I wouldn't mind a Batarian Engi or Inf, but we already have four of them, and they aren't the prettiest creatures.

Because Batarians are almost extinct.

Stop crying. Btw, i wonder if Batarians cry with all of their eyes. And how do they avoid getting tears into the lower eyes? Or do they just create a tiny river of tears streaming down their ugly faces? That would redefine the expression "cry me a river".

I'll remain skeptical - new game modes just seem to be too much of an investment at this point - but I'll be very pleasantly surprised if true.

I think that, while the devs put a significant amount of work into Retaliation, the large number of reused assets and timed character release, would give Bioware substantial buffer to create brand new content, so I have high hopes for this DLC.

The leaked description says nothing about Female Turians.
So it's pretty safe to say that we're not getting them.
