Yes, Planescape Torment which I replayed about 6 weeks ago.
The Nameless One (TNO) is the main character, and could easily be described as a walking corpse. The Pillar of Skulls has information he requires and there is one interaction with it, plus a realisation that at least one earlier meeting has taken place.
