3 killstreak medal? Thanks so much for whining that ops were too easy

Which would be the best map to solo bronze for this ops?
I plan to missile+multi frag spawn points, but i need to see the damn point before the troopers spread.
I'd say Jade or Dagger. Both have simple spawn points and a location to see most of them from one spot.

Here is the problem with the suggestion to just solo and nuke spawns for myself and probably a fair number of people who do not solo often.
We don't know where the spawns are going to be. In a team game I am pretty good at knowing where spawns will show up. Solo is a whole other matter.
For example, on Condor if all companions are on the upper area and not on the sniper bridge and one runs up on to the sniper bridge at the beginning of the wave there will be a spawn in the landing zone. Solo this is not the case.
How about Glacier, If you stand at the top of the long ramp to the basement and team mates are also up top then you will get a spawn in the basement and you can race down and go after that spawn. Is this still the case if i am solo? If I stand at the top of the long ramp will I get a spawn in the basement or will it spawn elsewhere?
Split spawns are likely to occur, I wouldn't recommend doing a Gold Solo because of it (though you could). On Bronze you can easily just wait for the enemies to pile up, though will usually spawn together anyways (like spawns being LZ, Hallway and Basement if you stand at the Ammo Box looking at the Nook). Try not to to nuke stuff unless you see a large spawn (i.e don't grenade spam three Centurions). You need 5 kills within about 1 second to get the medal.
If I stand at the ammo box where is the haord most likely to come from? Up the stairs right near the nook or from the basement up the long ramp?

Your two most likely spawns on a solo in that situation is either basement or hallway.

For this, you can use the alternate method. Find a dead end. Go there. Wait.
For Glacier, use a QMI or QME and Geth/Bronze, go to the dead end hallway in the lab. Its straight ahead through the doorway where you spawn. Its a spawn spot as well. Go take cover at the lone pillar there. Ignore the shooting. Most will hit the glass you're behind (don't take cover in a way that you're standing up) and the silly damage the do barely scratches if you have fitness.
Every single one will converge on you. Wait until one of them tries to melee you. Run out the doorway towards the LZ then spam your grenades aiming to center the grenade point to cover the largest area. Killstreak 1 done. Get more grenades and repeat. Wave 2's rocket troopers are more problematic because they tend to stay further away but you can killstreak with the troopers anyway.
Repeat until done.
Okay I'll give that method a try. The only dicey part sounds like running out towards the lz after they try and melee you.

That's probably why it's called a challenge lol
Also, I've done the last 3 challenges and its always surprising to see players with crazy stats and botb or N7 banners who come pug on bronze just to get their commendation pack & next thing you know there's countless threads on how the challenge was crap and such...

Getting killstreaks isn't much of a problem.
This exchange is over.

You don't need to wait for them to really melee you. One of the troopers will break cover and walk towards you (the rest of the lot will take cover over at the doorways and in the lab proper). Thats the signal you're waiting for.
Also you don't really need to run out into the LZ, i'm just putting that to let you know which doorway to use (the right hand doorway).
Don't forget that arcs go through walls and cover when selecting the spot you want to bomb

Totally undoable for anyone who plays pugs. For the first time, I'm going to miss one. Not even going to try.
I guess now is when everyone tells me it's not that hard and I'm a scrub for not having loads of pro friends to do this with.
Play 4 matches last night with randoms, happened in 2 out of 4 matches. Doable!!!

This. Almost every game I play these days has at least 2 killstreaks, including Silver.

Volus Engineer/Drell Infiltrator/Drell Adept/Drell Vanguard/Geth Soldier/Vorcha Sentinel/Vorcha Soldier/Batarian Slasher/Asari Vanguard/Krogan Sentinel/Batarian Soldier and Firebase Glacier. Geth for the enemy, since they cluster together like morons (how's those fancy "Reaper upgrades" working out for you guys?).
Easy mode. I'm struggling more over what class to use than how I'm going to go about this challenge. I probably missed a couple from my above list, too. Oh yeah, Quarian Male Engineer/Infiltrator. Just been playing that, and got a killstreak without even trying. Derp.

I dont get BSN at all... a week ago people were complaining that weekend challenges were too easy, now a few days later it's too hard...
There might be an exception or two, but it's not the same people.
You're referring to two distinct camps. BSN is a community, not a poster.
And I still think they're too easy.
I don't want to be able to do it in 1 thirty minute game, guaranteed.
I want to have to put in more effort than a normal game. It's a consistent poition, as I haven't "switched sides" ever.

While the OP is kind of a whine fest, I have to wonder if this is as easy as everyone seems to make it out to be. Personally, I've never seen higher than killstreak 1 in any match I've played, so I hope some of you better players can understand some people's (my) apprehension about our ability to complete this challenge.
No need to worry too much. Its a squad goal. If your lobby has someone who nukes spawns, you're golden. If not, put on armored compartments if you have it, camp the extraction zone during wave 11 and just shoot when 5 targets come together. Most maps funnel enemies straight to the EZ. Just be patient and time it right. This is normally very bad practise in normal matches though
You can also try the soloing bronze method i mentioned earlier on this thread.

Allow me to introduce you to the BSN then. A requirement of tenue here is to cry and whine about every little thing they do with the game until the servers shut down, and then whine and cry about the servers shutting down. Once you learn how to mentally filter out the posts of people griping, you can find the ones with meaningful content.
Ramping up the difficulty shouldn't be a bad thing. People are just gonna have a heart attack if they have a hole in their manifest completion. Like someone said, you can cop out the cheap way and just spam the hell out of Arc Grenades or Rockets. Saw a few groups actually bother to coordinate it by way of whittling down enemy health, then finishing them all off at the same time. If you're having trouble with this one, might be better to coordinate with someone on here to get it done. There's still a ton of players out there who have no clue these forums exist or the specifics of Challenges & Commendation Packs.
