I don't even know how to get a killstreak to be honest. I don't think I've ever gotten the medal either. I've been playing this game since day one. Maybe that's sad, but I have no idea how to do this week's challenge.

Kill 5 things almost at once, and it doesn't even have to be an individual who does it. As long as the team kills 5 things within a VERY short time span - Kill Streak.

It's most common when someone Cobra Missiles a spawn point (right after they spawn). It's also fairly common when someone does the same with high powered grenades. A couple times my team has gotten them using only weapons, which was nothing more than lucky timing.

For anyone who plays PUGs? I searched U/U/G once tonight and got it my first game. Just save your missiles. Don't waste any HOPING that it'll get a killstreak. Wait 'til you know you're getting one.

I got the first two the game I played. I fired my third missile at the same time as another player for the third, and they got the credit. Poof. Done. I'm not sure why everyone says this is so hard. Just don't kill everyone right away at the beginning of each wave.

I only play PUGs and I have never seen anyone do this.  Ever.  Generally people save missles and I usually save missles until we're getting hammered and really need them.  I've already played 5 games today and have yet to see anyone do this.  I'm queued up for another game now and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same thing as always.  I guess this is gonna get people to play in ways they don't usually play.

I suppose this actually would be hard in a non-solo pug, because it'd be hard to ensure that your missile hits the spawn before your teammates' do.

Killstreak is a team bonus.

I wasn't going to post in this thread.

In my second PuG today, a teammate nabbed the 3 killstreaks for us by nuking spawns.

I forgot about it in the first game. Seeing him get 2 killstreaks reminded me in the second. The third happened before I even had a chance to do it, myself.

So I succeeded the op without even trying after 2 PuGs.

Still too easy.

I pugged for about an hour and half, hoping somebody else was working on it. Wanted my pack and didn't want to play anymore tonight, so just did it myself. Started platinum on Glacier, 3 rockets, 3 killstreaks, never shot a gun once. Then I went down and didn't bother getting back up. Total gametime was 1:17.

Anyone on xbox who's having a hard time, I'll be on in the morning (about 10-11 hours from now), GT same as here. I'm US west Coast and I usually get on for about an hour when I get off work in the morning (8am ish).

I figure this is hard for newer players who are still stuck on bronze because there's rarely enough enemies clumped up. I'm not the best wave clutcher ever but I can usually carry on silver if I have to so I should be able to help some bronzies go up a level to get their commendation packs.

You can solo this on bronze if you have a grenade class.

Just saying did mine this morning in a pug, I got two of them myself, someone saved me a rocket and got the third very doable. I am decent but no where near elite.

I'm not a great player. I am not aware of getting 3 or more Killstreaks in any match before this Operation but I could have done so and not noticed.

Anyway, I tried it on Glacier / Geth / Bronze solo. By the start of wave 5, I had the 3 required Killstreaks. I went on to extract and could have, had I felt like throwing missiles around, got 2 or maybe 3 more Killstreaks. That's 5 or 6.

With more people in the match, the challenge is even easier; it's a squad goal, so it doesn't matter which team member(s) get the Killstreaks, and more players means you can cover more spawn points.

This is not a difficult weekend challenge!

It's so long since I remember an operation that required team work.
You can do this solo too.
I was doing in with a lvl12 Destroyer Bronze on Glacier, was at the 2nd killstreak (with missiles) when a friend invited me, so I started it from scratch.
Done with Collectors on Gold using a lvl 20 Claymore InfiDrell
Then I did it with other friends, always Glacier (it's too fun how enemies get funneled in there) once with Cerberus and one with Geth both with lvl 16-17 Talon Slayer with Biotic Slash at 3.

If you've got a Drellfiltrator and a Krysae, slap those both on, set it to Cerberus Bronze Glacier. Round up the first few waves in a Recon Mine, get four in its radius, then snipe a guy outside and set off your mine at the same time. It helps greatly if you have the radius and expose evolutions.

Not suggesting that glitching is good for your health, but Hydra glitch is really useful for this mission if you are really really desperate.

I can't tell you how many people I helped with this today and it was fun and rewarding to help those who feel they can't do it or are unfamiliar with spawns, I imagine I will help even more people through out the weekend.

I personally really like doing weekend ops like this which require team work, even if only one person gets the killstreaks people still need to work together to force spawns.

Me and some friends even did an all volus run to help some one get their killstreaks. If you have mics use em no response send a message.

A random got the first 2, and I got the third.
