I enjoy RPG's more than Shooters, so that's the perspective I'm coming from.
So any player action or mechanic must be consistent with the 'game world'.
Shooting with no purpose is empty. For me ME3 balances this beatifully.
Non consistent action feels like cheating to me - I'm not playing 'properly'.
So that's why Reload Cancel is wrong.
The mechanic makes no sense within the game.
The mechanical reload is unnecessary because you use a power? How could that work?
So I do not and will not Reload Cancel because I find it a cheap move that is not game-consistent.
Right hand advantage from soft cover, no problem. Right-handed gun position allows protection for the body. Fine.
Running with the Pizza: wrong.
It's heavy ok.
Pick up & drop mechanic to allow running makes absolutely no sense.
I would go further to say that ideally Krogan could carry the Pizza faster and Volus slower.
Missile gitching: Wrong at all levels, great news that it's been addressed.
Hydra sniping point COULD be ok - IF human-sized enemies could climb after you and if falling off meant that you irretrievably bled out and didn't pop up at extraction.
The Box of Shame is unfortunate. A Banshee should be able to bend over slightly.
And finally. Players who die away from extraction should get no experience and no credits because they are dead and have been left behind.
Bleeding out players could be dragged onto the Shuttle.
And on Reactor, extraction should simply be getting into the elevator (the shuttle arrives where exactly?).
