 Has anyone posted any gameplay with the Acolyte since the patch?

I never used it due to my aversion to charge weapons, but now I'm going to run with it for a while on my N7 Shadow.  It seems like a really good fit.

It should be back to its normal self soon, so don't get too comfortable.

 There is a little bit of gameplay in this video. Note they are changing it back to having a charge on Tuesday though.

Tested it after the patch last night and it was awesome (no charge)... soon to be nerfed again apparently. Too bad, it's a good weapon for casters without the charge, worthless with it (try running fer instance).

The stats are better with the charge, actually.

Firing rate is too slow, and I can't get over the fact that I can't shoot while running anymore. Glad it's going to be back to how it's intended to be.

Eh, that's too bad. Firing rate is good for me. The Shadow isn't a weapon character, so I just need something lightweight to finish off enemies.

If you are using a shadow, wait for it to go back to normal. You can charge, then cloak, and fire it from cloak.

 Acolyte is was an awesome, adept-friendly heavy pistol.

Now it is just ok.

People, people, PEOPLE! The charge mechanic is NOT hard to get used to. I didn't like the switch back to the chargeless version at first, but when I stopped being a whiny little (insert choice of insult here) I realized it's just as easy to use, fires faster and synergizes nicely with vanguards and flamer users. JUST SHEPARD UP AND FREAKING TRY IT!!

For some people it is actually painful over time. Repetitive stress injuries and all that. Much like using the Mattock.

Yes! Another thread debating the charge mechanic! There have been far too few of these in the last 24hrs...

Also, charge is mo betta.
