Mass Effect 3 didn;t have Blue babies, therefore it is the worst thing Bioware has ever done. How dare they choose to end their series on a somber note. It feels like I've been raped.

I wouldn't joke about rape.

We already compare Synthesis to rape, so why the hell not?

Who the heck is doing something so stupid?

Read a few pages of the "Synthesis is an abomination" thread.

I meant "we" as the BSN community. You are part of this community. Some mebers have made that comparisson (Some of them do it often) thus we (the BSN) have made the comparisson. It is not a comment targeting you directly.

It's the ending of a great saga, so yes a lot of people judge ME3 because of the endings, which impact the replayability of the 3 games.

And if you want to play a journey where destination doesn't matter, play a MMO game.

Where does the ending start?

If we're looking at the trilogy as a whole, shouldn't the entirety of ME3 be considered the ending? Just an interesting thought.

The series felt like it was ripped from your heart, to have nothing left to continue."

And yet, what is said above turned out to be a lie...

Well the Titanic and Hindenburg had great journies, but if you crash and burn in the end, it's still going to suck.

True.

Also, I found a lot of the rest of ME3 was crap, like the intro (holy crap that is cringe worthy) Rannoch, Thessia, the Cerberus Coup and Priority Earth was fairly lacklaster and craptastic.

So no, my beef isn't only with the ending. It's with a lot of the rest of the game.

Well, almost everything except Tuchanka.
How did you like fetch "quests" and reaper-chase minigame?

Are you ****ting me? "one of the best sagas of all time"? ME2 and ME3 are full of plot holes and retcons, but at least ME3 has a decent plot, unlike ME2. A ending "rips" your heart when the tone is similar to the rest of the
series, not when it adds a new villain in the last 10 minutes, completely rewrites Shepard's personality and creates lots of plot holes and retcons.
Mass Effect is not the best trilogy, and if you think so you probably don't watch many movies or read a lot.

would you take a journey that ends in a hospital, because you catched a food poisoning and you know it beforehand?

LOL, this is actually an excellent point. Guess it depends on just how good the food that leads to the poisoning is, and how severe the aftermath was.

in this case, its like eating bad fugo ...

No, I judged the core game, which is why I dislike it. Still a good game, just not for me and no game is without faults - ME1, ME2, etc, it's just the cons outweigh the pros for ME3 and I don't even have a problem with the endings itself, but they are poorly executed.

So how do you think you´d feel if someone forced a change in your body?

Although I tend to call Synthesis an abomination rather than a rape, it´s clear why some people think so.

Go play a game called Journey. That will prove it to you that its not just about the road but also about the destination.

People need to stop throwing that word around so lightly. I understand that Mass Effect is a fairly passionate topic that riles people up, myself included, but that doesn't really excuse the light bantering of the term. Yet equaliating getting your DNA rewritten to rape is stupid and shouldn't be done.

Yes, I prefer that term as well.

Both Journey and destination matter. Sadly ME3's destination was a trainwreck.

And the journey was a car crash.

If you were actually raped in real life, you wouldn't be so quick to use the word for trivial things.

No, ME3 did not put you in hospital. At most you disliked the ending, and moved onto something else.

Analogy, learn it. Or maybe "metaphor" is more appropriate.
