I actually do use it from time to time.

For me, it's really no different than the regular human soldier. I don't put points into either carnage or concussive shot for them, so in essence, it's the same character for me.

I'd like him more if carnage primed longer- due to the bouncing and usual delay of frag explosions its tricky to get FE's w/ the BF3 dood since the window is only 2 sec (carnage's slow travel speed doesn't help either, makes it very distance-dependent), but in theory its really good and versatile having that + AR.

Carnage needs a longer priming duration. That's my only complaint.

If you're just using him as another human soldier then there's no point in asking.

Not everyone exclusively likes the ladies, you know...

- That said, the BF3 Soldier, as well as having Carnage instead of CS also has a higher base encumbrance. So if you want to use a CSless build with heavy weapons, consider using the BF3 guy instead.

Moderately, I named him Major Zod (Smallville reference).

I use the BF3 soldier, I find adrenaline rush's instant reload + typhoon or revenant w/thermal clip mod means u never have to stop firing, plus a dmg boost (as if the typhoon needs it). Also the shield boost from adrenaline rush is v useful. I know the human soldier has the same skills but neither has any challenges allocated to them for wave completions or extractions so it doesn't matter which you use, the BF3 soldier just looks cooler :P

I came up with an idea to put every single gun on at least 1 of the characters (sometimes 2 guns on a character).. no matter how useless.

My BF3 holds the Striker and Incisor because I couldn't think of a more useless character for 2 useless weapons I will never want to use.

I did for a while, then I realized the regular human soldier and the destroyer were both much better options. It is almost the same as the common human soldier and the main difference is the Carnage shot instead of concussion shot, but the carnage has a slower recharge time. Given that, the common human character is a better choice for that reason alone. The game has been steadily moving at faster paces which sadly removes much of the RPG like qualities it used to have as well as many of the strategy options. Now it is more dependent upon hack and slash run and gun type combat instead of teamwork, skill, strategy,or powers. Powers are still good but for the most part they are outshone by weapons.

He needs to have the lines from BF3.

Instead of "Shields down!".
It's now "I'M GETTING ****ED UP THE ASS OVER HERE!".

Instead of "I got you!"
It's now "GET THE **** UP!".

Instead of ".........".
It's now "HOLY **** IT'S A GRENADE!".

he's fun and amazing burst dps with 4 shot Raider and double carnage, takes out a ravager on plat in a second. its crazy really. bring inc ammo and go glacier for some fire explosion carnage fun. haven't trued the claymore yet, I just like the feel of the Raider on this kit somehow, also carnage travels too slow to be used on mod-long ranges and can also miss that way, that's why I prefer this kit for upclose action with raider.

I do know AR is good, but I'd rather go for Marksman. When it comes to soldiers, no one like the turians. Plus they're tankier and got Prox. Mine which debuffs all enemies in its range.

I never use him, but he's fine.

I use a bonus power AR spec that's built around carnage spam. It's pretty effective.

I'm an avid BF3 player and part of a Platoon on BF3, so if i'm gonna play a Vanilla Human Soldier, I use my BF3 Soldier to honor my BF3 compatriots, especially since many of them play ME3 with me.

I play my BF3Sol with the "power use" evo in AR, maxed Carnage for armour damage, and incendiary ammo. I figured that was the best way to play with Carnage considering its long CD, the central role of AR,  everything else would just make him a sub-par HSol.
I make him wield either Saber or a stabilized Argus. I do alright with that setup.

I use mine to play paintball with some of the other MP characters. That is how he got that giant orange spot on his side.

I like the BF3 Soldier better than the regular HS.  Carnage plus Frag Grenades equals lots of fire explosions and serious damage.  Use Incendiary Ammo to make it even better - Claymore, reload cancel with Carnage for a fire explosion, Frag Grenade for another fire explosion, Claymore again, Adrenaline Rush, Claymore again, reload cancel with Frag Grenade for another fire explosion, Claymore again... well, if anything is still standing by that point.

Hey that sounds interesting. Might push me into giving it one more try.
