How to play:
Demolisher:
Max the Pylon with the extra grenade evo
Arc Grenades are great
can either ignore Homing Grenade or give it a fire evo for f.e.'s
Shadow:
can either make an Electric Slash spammer or Shadow Strike meleeing boss killer.
fyi she can't SS Atlas' or Scions from a glitch in patch 4

Demo - she's a very versatile character, I max her power and take 3 ranks fitness, many people skip Nobody's Home-ing grenades and max her fitness and Omni-Blade melee with her to surprising success. I have also seen strange 66606 builds with her that are still quite capable or wrecking the enemy. Plan on being mobile and do not overly rely on your pylon for restocking grenades.

the pineapple.
shadow is more of a quiet, squishy instant killer, where as the Demolisher is a much more devastating crowdcontrol option. Pop down a pylon and toss grenades to your hearts content. Get infinite kills.
both do very well kill and score wise, they just have very different approaches.

Demolisher can be fun, but I love infiltrators.

I run it without any fitness. Max arc grenades for damage, pulse, and bonus vs shields.
homing grenades max for the DOT and damage against armor
supply pylon max for grenade distribution etc.
Run with grenade capacity gear. I have 11 grenade with the plus 5 grenade capacity. I use a harrier with incendiary ammo just for extra destruction.
You'll have to be careful to take cover and what not but the amount of damage you can dole out with 11 grenades and a harrier is just insane. In holy **** situations you can throw all of your grenades, use a thermal clip and repeat.
Great support class too. Once you get good with lobbing the grenades you can throw them across the map to help out some team mates from far.
Using just a harrier keeps your CD respectable for when you need to redeploy your pylon due to objective waves or just want an extra 2 grenades very quickly.
Some of my highest scoring games are with a demolisher.

Crusader, just because... I need to find an excuse to use it. Demolisher heavy melee is extremely good - with all the grenades there's no excuse not to spec 6 into max melee.
Anyway compared to the shadow, I think the demolisher is the more straightforward character - just guns and grenades. The shadow requires a lot more situational awareness, fast reflexes (for dodging after SSing a scion for instance), and target prioritising.
Demolisher is just throw grenades, punch some things and shoot.

Demolisher is definitely a more lulzy melee character than the Shadow.
But Shadow has...dat armor damage. Decapitating 3 Gold Dragoons at once? Yes plz.

Shadow needs buffing then, because she's too damn flimsy not to be the best melee character. She should be up there with the Krogan.

Seriously. Run the numbers. Demolisher has multipliers to all 3 defences.

Narida's a bit misleading. It doesn't calculate the bonus damage against shields/barriers or armor, depending on your evolution choice.

I did. And that;s without rank 6 evolution on fitness. Click on the Tactical Cloak. It does 4000.

I am aware, but again, the demolisher has inherent bonuses to all 3 defenses. She also has an area melee (that does hit enemies behind her), and better crowd control with arc nades. Shadow basically only wins on health (lame) and the defense you pick rank 6 fitness, or with tac cloak bonuses, which as much as people claim otherwise, can't actually be active constantly. My demolisher always gets 4000 damage against all defenses, and she has arc nades.
