[U Bite My Pillow]

 I've tried the PPR X on many different kits (Destroyer, GI, TGI, Vorchas, Turian Sent, Huntress, AJA ect) trying to find the best kit suited for it. All in all it seems the basic Human Soldiers have the upper hand using the PPR. Since Adrenaline Rush amps the damage nicely (50%) and grants a tankish (40% Damage Resistance and an instant 500 Shields)ability allowing you to take damage without having to stop firing. While Adrenalin Rush won't automatically restore the PPR with a full mag, it will however force it to start recharging when overheated. Also while firing the PPR then activating A Rush causes the PPR to recharge a little (about 20-25 rounds) so you end up getting a little more out of it.

Just wondering if anyone else has found a Kit/Build that also works well with the PPR.

Best user is devastator by far.Devastation mode adds stagger immunity and the combination of rof+damage provides higher dps than adrenaline.

im guessing you didn't spec into Cryo Blast and set up Incinerate for 100% more damage to chilled and frozen targets and used Cryo ammo?

If so I tried something similar on the Vorcha Hunter, wasn't to bad.

Destroyer... hands down, not even close. Hawk Missile Launcher + PPR = pure domination.

Nothing in the game slaughters Platinum like it IMO.

Ive tried that one as well. No Hunter Mode, and Maxed everything else. Using Cryo ammo and armored targets die quickly (if they manage to get to you) when you hit them with Flamer.

Rank 3 fitness - recently tempted to skip it to improve incinerate

Tried it on the Destroyer but I swear the Human Soldier was better with it since A Rush is so versatile with it. Not to mention Incendiary ammo with Concussive Shot as a detonator. I just prefer my destroyer with a Phaeston X or Typhoon X with the RoF and accuracy bonus.

devasator mode is also the only way to get 270 rounds on rhe ppr x with said stagger immunity plus hydra missiles that stagger your target.

im pretty sure they had the ppr in mind when they nerfed devasator mode recently.

its good on an arush human soldier, but not as good as on a destroyer, IMO.

Human Soldier gets staggered out of the hot beam. Human Soldier cannot stagger entire spawns with Concussive shot while shooting the PPR at the same time. Human Soldier has actual cooldowns. Devastator Mode toggle skips the overheat animation, this isn't quite as fast as using AR, but it's still damn good.

When I first fell in love with the PPR it was the Human Soldier... but there are better options.

Another good one is the Quarian Marksman... but only for Platinum. Tac Scan Boss, start shooting PPR, when the hot beam starts.. engage Marksman and dump the entire clip on target super fast. It essentially raises the DPS of the hot beam to whatever the ROF bonus on Marksman is (50% I believe). This build sucks for Gold b/c its useless vs Mook mobs... but it's single target DPS is very useful for Plat boss killing.
