Did anyone else enjoy seeing Liara getting put in her place by Javik?

I'm guessing you also 'canonically' support Caesar in New Vegas as well.

I sure did with my fem-courier.

Your female courier supported Caesar

My female courier took Boone on a killing spree at his camp, and slaughtered his entire legion along with Caesar.  Boone even has some dialogue after that.  I didn't do it for the story, just to make Boone happy ^_^

I was really annoyed with Liara for starting crap with Javik after Thessia. It's even worse if you brought another squad mate along, so she just goes on, "My home world just fell and all he can do is gloat!". Like, hello, Liara-- Garrus, Tali, Kaidan, Adams and Shepard are all worried about you as you fall apart, and you expect JAVIK to coddle you and hold your hand too? I always side with Javik, ugh, it's as bad as when Jack threw a hissy fit in Miranda's office.

funny tho that Liara has sympathy for Javik as he mopes on about being the sole survivor of his race and contemplates surrender/suicide. I tell him that he's the best reason to survive that..as he IS the prothean race now.

( one other reason to synthesis..bring back the left over heritiage of his race to re locate, orientate..give'm something to do than lament..how many races did the Prothies 'take out' for their Empire..??? )

Yes. Have you considered that it's a bit difficult to take someone who praises and lauds Javik's views seriously when they admit to being a fan of 'My Little Pony'?

You're aware that this is an elaborate ad-hominem, right?

Different universes, different contexts.

No it isn't. It's not a personal attack, simply an examination of consistency in principles.

I smell an epic crossover...

"No. Do not help the Fluttershy-Pony. She is weak, and evolution has selected her for death. You must be strong to face the Discord, do not hesitate, but kill him where he stands. Then we must see this Celestia-Pony. I have some opinions on how she should run her Empire."

I'm stealing this.

I mean, this is certainly not unique to Mass Effect. You'll find it in discussion of any role-playing game and some other mediums as well. People advocating some ruthless or cruel choice or faction or whatnot. You can tell they don't really mean it.

Boone to me is like Garrus. Bros to the end.

And both are snipers, heh.

That she did and she proved she had the biggest clitoris of all the women in the Legion by smashing the NCR and Mr.House.

Never liked Boone all that much. And his "shoot Legion on sight" principle is a big no-no.

Cass was my main homie.

Graham was pretty awesome.

If there's a religion in America that's going to survive the apocalypse, it's probably the Mormons. And even better, we got the M1911 with him, which is fitting since Browning was also a Mormon.

"I don't enjoy killing, but when done righteously, it's just a chore, like any other", Joshua Graham.

Quotes like this made Joshua one of my favorite characters in New Vegas.

He had good armour, too; I ended up running around in it for most of the game.

I tried that, but boone attracted too much attention and got us killed.  After that I went back alone and killed everyone in the camp with my ninja sword, it was cool.

Liara's reaction to her homeworld being destroyed was completely cool and professional. She's ready to go on the very next mission.

Boy stop. She whines like a little ****.

Liara cries about Thessia in the aftermath of one mission.

Shepard spends the entire game crying about Earth.

"Palaven got attacked? Thessia too? Wow, I'm so sorry. But you have to abandon them and give me your fleets to save the most important planet in the galaxy, Earth."

Technically, the deal for getting the Turian fleets is to give them help in defending their own planet.

The asari pull out long before Thessia comes under attack. I've got zero sympathy for them. In any event, by the time it does fall they're close to the end game where attacking Earth is relevant because the Citadel has been moved there.

Because it would show how nonsensical the whole "take back earth" premise is. The aliens have no reason to send forces until the Reapers conveniently UHAUL the Citadel over there at the end.

Everyone else aside from Shepard must've gotten a peek at the script. They knew what was coming.

But Earth is Shepard's homeworld. Commander Overlord BAMF Shepard's homeworld! Surely aliens must respect that.

The only plausible explanation, unfortunately.
