I'm guessing you also 'canonically' support Caesar in New Vegas as well.

Boone to me is like Garrus. Bros to the end.

And both are snipers, heh.

Never liked Boone all that much. And his "shoot Legion on sight" principle is a big no-no.

Cass was my main homie.

Same. I took Cass on my main playthrough. Total homies. But Boone was awesome too. And Rex..

I'm glad he, and the Prothean race, turned out nothing like Liara imagined.

Javik is right about just about everything.

I took a quick look at your profile, and you've got quite a bit of My Little Pony stuff in there.

Doesn't My Little Pony have gushy morals at the end of every episode about love and friendship and whatever?

Nice circumstantial ad hominem, bro.

I love Liara but always thought that she always had at least a passive arrogance about Asari supremacy to the other galactic races and especially humans.  For Javik to give her the rude awakening that most of their technological leap over the rest of the galaxy was due to the Protheans leaving them so much of their own technology was actually kind of refreshing.  Not to mention Traynor pretty much schooling her in how to collect intel and manage information.....without an extensive spy network.

Javik was simply telling her the truth, albeit one that was hard to accept.

Liara was surely suffering from PMS during that episode.

She didn't even blink while helping Shepard to kill her own mother in ME1.

liara is the only asari in the series, who does not have this "attitude" towards other species.

in me1, she explains shepard, why humans are not trusted yet - but she does, without raising her index finger. most asari have a bad attitude towards other races.

the turians come from the same direction. they see the other races as their vasals and treat them with disrespect. this only changes, if you save the council and sacrifice the 8 cruisers. the turians truly respect this.

No, it is the one reason I ALMOST let him look at the memory shard to be a jerk back to him....also Liara is proud of her people she does not go about Asari superiority, as it is she very often praises other races

I guess, just like I wanted to put a bullet in Miranda's head the moment I first saw her. We all have to suffer through something

Liara's "Next time we go to war, maybe the Alliance could spring for air support." line really irked me. Yeah, when Earth isn't under attack from day 1, maybe we'll help you out. For that, I'm glad Javik told her what's what.

. I so wanted to kick her out with Allers

I've never seen Liara express this in any way.

Other asari, sure, but not this one.

Not that I dislike the idea that the Protheans weren't entirely the idealised paragons Liara thought they were, it's actually kinda cool to see preconceptions torn down, because it resulted in some actual character development, which i was shocked to discover in Mass Effect.

Not to mention Traynor pretty much schooling her in how to collect intel and manage information.....without an extensive spy network.

Doesn't Traynor actually only do two things and has other people's help to acheive them? She's a communication's specialist, monitoring communications is her job, and she monitors communications successfully.

Of course, it's still annoying as someone who likes Liara and the concept of her becoming the Shadow Broker, to go through the game and have Liara's single massive contribution to the plot happen in a comic I never knew about, and all the other stuff she does happen off screen, only to find out the things that would have made her actually useful as the Broker, were given to Traynor simply to give her a larger role in the story and justify her existence past being the lesbian romance option, even though it makes more sense both logically and narratively to have Liara do something visible after having an entire DLC devoted to her.

I mean, even if you don't like Liara, if she's going to be in the game so much, wouldn't you rather she did something worthwhile?

Yeah, rant, whatever.

During the entire game, Shepard was all: "Earth is worse, come help me, forget Thessia, forget Palaven." My favorite part is certainly the conversation with Victus on Menae. Not that Victus is much better. Hm...what would be more useful in a fight against a huge number of gigantic dreadnoughts: A galactic superpower with a large fleet and stealth dreadnoughts...or space Somalia. And you're complaining about one comment (from a strategic point of view, sending reinforcements to Thessia would even make more sense than trying to liberate Earth)? Liara's Thessia bias is really harmless compared to Shepard's Earth bias.

Also Liara manages an information brokering network that is so massive that she could not possibly pay attention to everything especially if she could delegate to specialists, like Traynor.
