I did a renegade playthru long ago, and I remember having enough points
to use the "I'm a Spectre, Start talking" option.

Since then I've done a bunch of paragon playthrus.  So, now I'm trying to
do a renegon.  I have just over 80% of the renegade points but I don't
trigger the Spectre line.   So, I looked on the wiki and it says

"Avoid the first Renegade Interrupt and use the second one only to use the Spectre card (if reinstated by the Council), to get the confession before the lawyer arrives. The lawyer will enter the door as you leave."

So, I went back and did it again, using only the second interrupt, but
didn't get anything Spectre-wise.    Is there more to that or does it
require the higher renegade points or what?

Possibly you aren't renegade enough, though it's not points that count as the Wiki also explains.

The morality system of Mass Effect 2 works on percentages rather than the total points earned. There is a set number of morality points available in the game. Shepard's current "effective" morality score at any given point is the number of points earned out of the number of points available from the areas the Commander has explored so far. It is possible to have Shepard's Paragon/Renegade scale(s) maxed out, but still not have the percentage required for certain dialog options.

One way to check if this is the problem is to use the Gibbed save editor to give yourself a few hundred extra renegade points, thus boosting your percentage up to probably over 100%, create a new save and then try replaying the scene with it. If you get the "I'm a Spectre, start talking line" when doing the same things that didn't get you it before then percentage is very likely your problem. I don't know what percentage is required for this line or any of the other hard morality tests, and as there's nothing in game that tells you your current percentage anyway knowing what percentage is needed isn't a lot of help. But personally I find the conversation you're trying to get far harder to achieve as a renegon, never mind paragade or paragon, than as a straightforward ass-kicking, name taking renegade Shepard. I don't think I've ever done it as anything but renegade without using Gibbed for extra points (which admittedly I do all the time now so I can have whatever conversation I want).

My question is more about the wikia info. It reads like it is guiding
the player to a different Spectre line, because the original Renegade
option is prior to the first interrupt.
