Funnier still is almost all of them are humanoid-looking AND look like animals from Earth. When I saw a Krogan I thought it was just a giant talking Lizard. Similarly Salarians = Tall frogs, Hanar = Jellyfish and Rachni = Intelligent ants.Asari look so siilar to humans that its just an embarrasment. Vorcha are space goblins and Batarians are humans with an overload of eyes and nostrils. Only the Turians are somewhat unique and even they look like a cross between cats and birds.

Project Lazarus, obviously.

Shepard gets thrown into space after presumably breaking her spine against the Normandy's wreckage, suffocates to death, and tumbles through the atmosphere of Alchera to hit the surface like a meteor, and again presumably, ends up nothing but a blackened smear on the surface.

And she's brought back to life, because science.

Kasumi's mission in ME2.
One of the most famous humans in history goes undercover on the offchance that nobody will recognize her/him.
Heck, let's even bring a statue of Saren to refresh their memories. :P

Crucible, Cerberus Empire, Lazarus, Evacuation Scene.
And in ME1 - why Hackett even listened Shepard about how to engage Sovereign. Shepard have no experience in fleet command.

That was pretty dumb, I agree. I also wondered why Shepard can't let the council decide what to do with the Rachni Queen. Kaiden even suggested it at the end of the mission.

I was seeing the Krogan as giant toads and Salarians as frogs...thought that was why they didn't get along.  But maybe Krogan are lizards.

Citadel moves, because plot says it moves, lot's of issues with that.

The capability of the Citadel to move was mentioned as back as in ME1. I honestly wasn't surprised when they said it was moved.

I searched ME WIki for source but couldn't find any mention of this. What is your source?

Talk to Barla Von about the Citadel in ME1. He'll tell you how impressive its "hull and engines" are.

I fired ME1 up and played to the point where you can meet Barla Von. He says "The station is ... It is a technological marvel, but it's true splendor goes much deeper than the hull and engines." I think he is referring to engines as engines which maintain mass effect fields, operate opening and closing "arms" and life support.

Dunno, you may be right. But when I hear hull and engine said togather my mind immediately goes to a ship, something moving.. but they didn't clarify either way.

I always understood that sentence like "Its true splendor comes from all the races living and working aboard the Citadel, making it a unique place in the galaxy." That sort of thing.
-------------------------

I just recalled something else regarding the Batarians: While on Aratoht during the Arrival DLC, I always thought that the interiors and the furniture seemed almost identical to those you find in human settlements.
I'd have to look again, but as far as I can recall they have the same seating furniture, lockers and even coffee makers, which I found slightly odd for a race that's so different from humanity.

Yes, I can see how it could be seen that way, especially hull and engines combined in sentence, we easily associate them with a ship or aeroplane, not Skylab or ISS.

Yeah, Barla Von speaks about that in follow up.

That brings me to another plothole/inconsistancy: Notice the Batarians wearing helmets. Their helmets are exactly like humans wear. Infact I mistook them for some mercs the first time I saw one wearing helmet. The helmets have only two eye holes. So their other two eyes are just for show? lol. One may think they are vestigial, but they do blink them. Thoughts?

Don't know if it was mentioned but the fact that reapers are so hard to kill is total bull.

They at them with some weak, lazer pew pers all series. Humanity created freaking nukes. I am sure they can nuke a freaking reaper and kill it (at least in orbit where there is no danger of collateral damage).

That I assume might be the visor's translator translating that asari font to gothic by configuration. I assume in-character he'll need an omni-tool progam, a visor, or implants as Shep in ME2 likely have to get the translation, but the game simplifies that for the player's - and artist's - convenience.

To add to this thread: Samara's outfit. I like the character, but the outfit seems just very out of character. Same with Miranda and Jack, both good characters, but their outfits are ridiculous for the task at hand.

Also, biotics limited by game balance, which gives off the impression that even the asari matriarchs are at the level of a L3 human whose species haven't truly understood biotics yet. Samara and Jack - exceptional for her species - are amazing biotics in cutscenes, but really bad in-game. If they can't do characters justice in gameplay, reconsider their inclusion.

The galaxy being filled with Ardat-Yakshi for Banshee mass production;

That's long since established, in ME2. Up to 1% of all asari suffers the disorder to some degree, but the asari do their best to give the impression it is a very rare problem High Command has complete control over.

How are you so sure nukes (which by 2186 would be a 200 year old technology) would destroy Space Cthulhus millions of years ahead of us? Nukes to Reapers would be about as dangerous as sticks to a tank. And the weak pew-pew lasers are many times more strong than your nukes. Listen to the conversation the soldiers have in ME2 Citadel.

Still the ending, particularly everything that involved the Normandy:
- Why would you call an evac for 2 squadmates?!
- Is everyone chilling on the Normandy? They could actually be a little useful in the final fight.
- Why is Joker not getting to the same "rendezvous point" as the fleet? (Why is there even a point like that if they don't know what the Crucible will do...)
- What's the reason for the Normandy to crash in the first place?

Questions no one has an answer to...
