Without getting into spoilery specifics, I ordered a certain dlc, encountered a certain boss, and after several failed attempts have come to the conclusion that I really can't be bothered finishing this dlc, regardless of any 400 microsoft points cost or completionist ocd. Problem is, all my saves and auto-saves are either way past the nice 'return to Kirkwall' griffon statues or the very beginning of Act 1.
Is there anything I can do to get back to before I ordered this accursed game-ruining dlc, or should I just give up on Dragon Age 2 entirely? (Another option would be to replay the majority of Act 1 again, but I can't see myself finding the motivation for that.)
Reverting to Pre-DLC

I can not think of any way that won't involve more work than simply going back to the start of the chapter. The only way I know to remove the DLC is to reload the game from scratch, and then put back in the things you want (I had to do that to disinstall the bugged 1.04 patch). Sorry I can't be more help.
