If they have a crap attitude, don't use equipment, and never bother to learn the basics, why are you rewarding them by dragging them to a big payout? You're just rewarding that kind of thinking. That was kind of the point of the OP. If they can't be bothered to help themselves to the extraction by using rockects and gel, why should I force them to keep playing? I'd sooner just have the match end that much sooner and try to find a team that actually does care enough to use equipment and actually gives me a chance to put on it on in the lobby.

If I sit around for more than 5 minutes waiting for a lobby to fill up, I'll just set it to gold geth, slap on a cyclonic modulator, and play a batarian or krogan vanguard and go. Sometimes people show up and get some free credits, but usually not. It is a mystery.

IMHO neither is the only measure of ones skill or ability. I was giving this thread some thought as it`s a pretty common complaint on the forum, not so much the joining a game, it`s more the fustration of games in gold and up. There are a lot of variables that would go into this but my thought is if I only had X number of games in gold and my manifest was what I was working on, I would like games to be as smooth as possible so that I am not buying a JEP after every match, I am not sure what is a reasonable number but maybe one JEP every third or fourth game.

I know when I started in gold and ran with friends we worked hard as a team to have each others back which resulted in few rockets and medi, this allowed us to buy packs for weapons or characters rather than just consumables.

A few things happen in time, time will vary as we all have different skill levels, we become more comfortable with the level and we simply get better, as this happens it`s simply a given that less consumables will be used and when we do join a random game it is a lot easier. we play more kits and use many of the weapons available.

I highly doubt, if I were to roll the clock back, that my extraction ability in July would be anywhere near what it is today when it comes to gold and playing with randoms.

If there were better search abilities I know without a question I would use them, things like join lobby only, only join if consumables are equiped etc. If this were part of the MP I am pretty confident that the majority of randoms would do things quite different, if they didn`t then they would have a desperate hard time filling a lobby, maybe even a display of that players consumables would give others a comfort level for the match they are about to head into.

Not sure how often it happens, but sometimes, other people get disconnected before the match starts...

I always put my consumables on I joined a friends game last night it was join able and i thought i pop in and play, turns out he was on extraction so i got a quick 7k and wasted my consumables and i never thought oh great wasted gear you play to have fun and if equipment makes it more fun and you get paid anyways why moan about. I've joined games at wave 5 and still topped the scoreboard because I used my gear, if you have it use it.

This is not going to end well......we are all adults and I would like to think we can fend for ourselves, while some threads may seem like a playground, the last thing BSN needs is self appointed police.

no, it is you that need to stop giving a attention towards me. you need to know i already stated on the pictures back then that they are what they are. i don't post a comment  on my pictures when it's stated. if people misreading it or comment on such things like you just said "this guy lies, he's not military officer" which i will not comment because you want to draw a reaction from me. unfortunately for you i will not let anyone badger me more on such topics. so drop it. and move on sir.

Thing is, if you join a game that another host has been soloing for possibly one or two waves, how do you even know if they have equipment on?

Most of us who do that are fully capable of carrying teams on gold or have terrible connections where nobody will join our lobby screen. It happens, it doesn't make us bad people.

You kind of answer your own question i've seen bad connection games where nobody until wave 5 so if you know your going to be alone for a few waves they more likely have equipment on. At least one would think.
