Has anybody here given Avernum: Escape from the Pit a go? I'm tempted. Is it worth the $20?

Anyone?...

I have it and played it a bit. Turn based old school fun. Have a look at the graphics if you care about them first though. The earlier version of the game (and sequels) are in GOG far cheaper. Avernum 1-3 do show their age however, in graphics and some gameplay aspects (A1 doesn´t even have a journal for instance).

I'm okay with a little retro, old-school, party-based gaming. The graphics seem... well, at least not horrible. Thanks.
