 A lot of buzz going around is a possible DLC release date for the 5th of Feb.  

I am not saying it WON'T, but I really want to avoid people screaming and crying when it doesn't happen.  Here is why I don't think it is likely.

1. Typically (though not always, look back at the rebellion release) information is made official some time sooner, either on a thursday (along with a challenge weekend) or on a Tuesday (with balance updates). we have recieved no information thus far.

2. There are a LOT of BIG releases coming out that day, specifically Dead Space 3 and Dragonborn DLC for PC. It runs the risk of being railroaded by these releases should they try to release all on the same day. 

3. Information on classes and items is sparse, normally we would have more then just a picture of one badass krogan by now as a teaser.  There is also a lot of conflicting information spawning around and the Devs have already mentioned that they hate keeping the secrets because it allows misinformation to spread like a virus. 


Seriously, don't be THAT GUY and complain to the devs on the 5th if nothing happens.

And I know Colonial marines comes out on the 12th and no Krogan with hammer will take me away from that.

Wouldn`t it be better for EA if they release DLC & DS3 at the different time?
What if a players get too busy with one of two... seems like potential loss of a customer..

I wasn't even thinking that the DLC will be released this coming Tuesday. I was thinking later because I need some time to save up credits for it. Plus, I want to play Crysis 3 before it comes out.

To think that the DLC is coming out on Tuesday is completely delusional. There has been no annoucement, no trailer, no name, and no official information outside of two teaser IMAGES. I have no idea why anyone would think that it might be coming out on Tuesday. It just doesn't make any sense.

It's the BSN, there will be a lot of THOSE GUYS no matter what. But  I for one appreciate the OPs attempts to temper expectations, the past has taught us to be cautiously optimistic and yet we always want to jump and holler at the first sign of new content. It's human nature, for better or for worse.

With Colonial Marines and Bioshock Infinite coming up my calendar is gonna be booked. I suspect this will be the longest away from ME3 MP I've had -- unless both are as short as Dishonoured.

I don't know where everyone got the idea it was coming out this tuesday, but I think March is too far off. No, it'll release this month. They wouldn't have shown a teaser/released if it wasn't already done. I'm thinking it's currently going through the certification process.
