This was posted in another thread, but after trying it out myself, I wanted to post my proof of concept and give some advice on how to do it.
The Firestorm Trap: This method requires a Volus for their Shield Boost power. Park yourself inside the melting down reactor inside Firebase Reactor Hazard and when your enemies to attack you, spamming Shield Boost to keep your Shields from falling, you trap them inside and let the reactor burn them all down. Letting the reactor kill at least 5 will net you a Killstreak badge.
The Build: Shield Boost needs to be maxed, taking the Shields, Regeneration, and Protection evolutions. You need it to restore all your shields with every use (or as much of them as possible). Fitness should be at least a rank 4, taking the Durability evolution for more Shields and Health; I'd probably recommend taking it all the way to 6 and picking up Shield Recarge at 5 and Fitness Expert at 6 (hell, toss on a Cyclonic Modulator on there as well if you want). The reason you want so many shields is that you can activate the reactor vent while you're still inside it. Approaching one of the sides of the door where the buttons are allows you to interact with the button from the inside. If your shields are high enough and you are mashing Shield Boost to constantly restore your shields, you CAN survive without needing to use a shield pack.
Some Tips:
- Do this on Bronze, solo if possible (maybe Silver, if you think your current Sheilds and Shield Boost can take it). Enemies will only come after you and Bronze difficulty will ensure that constantly spamming Shield Boost will keep you safe from basic gunfire. Plus, their lower health will make it impossible for almost anything to survive the damage.
- Take the lightest weapon possible that's still capable of dealing some damage (eg. the Tempest SMG). You want your cooldown bonus at 200% so you can fire off Shield Boost as often as possible.
- DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN A CORNER. If you stand in a corner, enemies will just come and sit on you (and melee you), preventing you from moving and making it impossible to press the button, even if you're right up against a wall that has a button on the other side. Dodge-rolling doesn't work to get out of the corner you're trapped in.
- Patience is a virtue and you're gonna need it. One of the big problems with this method is that most enemies in this game use cover and when you're trying to lure them into an area, they'll be really reluctant to do so, instead opting to remain in cover outside of the reactor and if they come in, they will oftentimes go back out after at time, while you're waiting for enough to get inside so you can press the button. Enemies that don't use cover (Guardians and Husks, for example) are really good enemies to corral in there, because they won't bother with cover and instead just follow you around. Be patient and keep spamming Shield Boost until you're sure there's 5 or more inside.
- You should be able to get a Killstreak medal each wave, maybe two if you're able to get enough enemies inside the reactor after the first are roasted.
- On objective waves, complete the objective as soon as you can with as little loss of enemy life as you can. Once the objective is complete, you can use the remaining enemies to get a Killstreak medal.
Hope this helps, everyone. I've tried a number of maps and enemies, trying to get enough caught in the radius of grenades and missiles with little success, but this method felt the easiest.

Thanks for this. I didn't really need to use a volus, though. I waited in cover on one side of the reactor and pressed the button when enough were in it. And all the geth happily went in

"regeneration" is useless
grab "recharge speed" instead (even if it is affected by diminishing returns)

Expected to see the exact strategy I just used, but learned something new. As an alternative that may require less patience I give you Firestorm Volus 2:
Volus Engineer built around recon mine and power damage. Bronze solo. I chose reactor, reapers. I attempted to lure bad guys through the upper reactor door, with a mine just outside it. Wait till you see 5 guys highlighted and *boom*. Done by wave 3.
Actual hazard not needed

I did it in Glacier.
*Waited near the LZ till enemy spawned.
*Run down to the spawn point - which usually is at the bottom part of the map
* Nuke them (or if you have grenades specd fort damage and radius - use them)
Repeat this 3 times.
Now OP has an interesting idea. Will have to try that later

There is an easier way for that fs:white on bronze recon mine the stair way or door on the left and wait in LZ. Rinse and repeat by wave 5 you should be done
