I believe OTS has always said he would stop the prophecies when Bioware asked him to.

Or perhaps you could say... he took an NDA to the knee? *Dr. Evil pinky thing*

A can almost gaurantee there will be no DLC release this week 2/5/13.  There have been no trailers, and without trailers, no DLC.  BioWare/EA aren't just going to drop a DLC without any heads up or promotiion, and two pictures via twitter don't count as a heads up.

um I recall one of the dlc's having a trailer released the day the dlc was out

You think Sony/MS gets so detailed information bout Bioware's DLCs?

BioWare would have to write a relatively detailed product listing for when the DLCs are added to the store. The information would be written by BioWare's marketing team and then given over to the store teams for the respective platforms to be entered into the system.

To clarify - A staff member on this forum PM'd me a very polite request ASKING me to stop. There was no malice nor threat and I always maintained that should I be asked to stop, I would.

That time came. I kept to my word. That's all there is to it.

No NDA, no legal threat, nothing of any malice on the part of Bioware or EA. It was all handled very civily. If Bioware/EA wanted me silenced so much, I would no longer be here.

Bioware are a company built on the foundations of their community, it is its' members and its' customers that both fund and fuel what ultimately happens. They respect us and I in turn respected their wishes. Nothing more to it.

Thanks OTS. I was actually curious about how they requested you stop.  Like if it was "Dude STaHp It! Or if it was a little bit more professional.   Still is interesting that they chose this particular dlc and not retaliation or earth dlc

Considering the statements that the BioWare staff have made about not being able to correct misconceptions or misinformation, I think it's because the predictions/leaks were manufactured statements to flush out leaks/avenues of leaks.

And I'm still left wondering how you came to become the Biotic God :pinched:

But that's good to know. We're glad you shared what you did share with us. It was a lot of fun having your prophecies around, but I think it's time to respect you, not as a prophet...

OTS you are one honorable man Volus to do so, others wouldn't for sure.
Just one little question: Does BW know your sources / how you could leak all that info?

I have no idea, but I will not share them regardless. I follow the oath of the journalist - Never rat your source/s, regardless of the stakes. I also honor the code of privacy. If someone wants it, they have it. Bioware envoked that and I'm sticking to it.

A man needs rules to live his life by. I set mine and stand by them.
