I have no idea, but I will not share
them regardless. I follow the oath of the journalist - Never rat your
source/s, regardless of the stakes. I also honor the code of privacy. If
someone wants it, they have it. Bioware envoked that and I'm sticking
to it.

A man needs rules to live his life by. I set mine and stand by them.

Do Volus actually stand, or are they just sitting on their theoretical knees?

If I were to take an educated guess, I would say he was a BioWare employee, maybe not a developer or programer, but he was on their payroll.

He was strategically placed on these boards to fire the rest of us up for new content, and if this was the case, he was excellent at his job.

We need him, he is the hero we all deserve.

oh yeah, i'm sure he was on their payroll..and guess what? I know what was his true job: he was Bioware's janitor and he got all those infos by sneaking and peeking at Bioware's meetings instead of cleaning the toilets and also that is the reason some of Bioware's work smell like sh*t..Geez people

To clarify - A staff member on this forum PM'd me a very polite request ASKING me to stop. There was no malice nor threat and I always maintained that should I be asked to stop, I would.

That time came. I kept to my word. That's all there is to it.

No NDA, no legal threat, nothing of any malice on the part of Bioware or EA. It was all handled very civily. If Bioware/EA wanted me silenced so much, I would no longer be here.

Bioware are a company built on the foundations of their community, it is its' members and its' customers that both fund and fuel what ultimately happens. They respect us and I in turn respected their wishes. Nothing more to it.

Thanks OTS. I was actually curious about how they requested you stop.  Like if it was "Dude STaHp It! Or if it was a little bit more professional.   Still is interesting that they chose this particular dlc and not retaliation or earth dlc

I'm more curious about exactly how OTS correctly predicted those DLCs:ph34r:

Yah this whole plant theory is fun and all but you ever notice how we all use our real names, there is a reason for that.

So you're saying OneTrueShot is actually a Bioware employee leaking this stuff?

I have found integrity present in this thread.

Strange day for the BSN.

...

Thank you OneTrueShot, for being a man.

My speculation about the DLC:
they're not as organized about it due to constrained resources, and that's why this one is getting played so close to the vest. There are probably elements of it which they're not certain will make it into release, and they don't want announcements or leaks because then they're held to delivering content that isn't ready.
Seems the most probable explanation for what's been going on.

I have to say, as much as I've enjoyed OTS' hints, it is mighty big of him to stop when asked. I salute you and your code of honor, may it serve you well while you wield it.

I do not, nor did I ever work/be affiliated for Bioware or EA in any sort.

I bet you work for microsoft though (or have a friend that does), that's how you were able to find out about Reckoning a month ago because you saw the details when it was put through the certification process.
