I am replaying Awakening right now to import into DA2. I decided to make Anders a Blood mage in Awakening, as I have never done so before. If he is one, does it change anything in DA2 or even some of his repsonses? I know he is pretty vocal in 2 about his dislike of blood mages, so I am curious now if it changes any of that. I have already found a few new lines in talking to him in awakening about him being a blood mage, so it got me wondering about if he does so in DA2 as well.
Thanks!

It doesn't change anything. I'm not even sure if Anders being a blood mage at the end of Awakening is a variable that is imported to DA2.

well that stinks. It would of been interesting to see if it changed him some in the 2nd one. Not that it matters. I mean he talks about his hate for blood mages, yet has no problems being in a relationship with my blood mage, so its not like it really matters in the long run.

Right, I wondered about that as well. Even Anders seem to use some form of blood magic in his personal tree. I guess in both the games, lore and gameplay are kept pretty much indepedent of each other.

While specializations of companions from Origins (and thus Awakening) are registered in the import files it will not have any impact on your DA2 experience, it is only meant to carry over inbetween Origin games
