Just got another one.

My screen went black as soon as the map had finished loading. The game was running on background, judging by the sounds of my own character, but I couldn't see anything. "Pause" menu was visible and I had to quit the game, losing all my equipment.

Anyone who wants access to be able to update the site (either the buglist or other pages) can just drop me a line.  BTW, for bug reports, it'd be best if there were links to BSN discussion threads/confirmation threads, especially if that data can be datamined from the game...

Volus eng. Sometimes shield boost wont work. Animation and cooldown still effective but shields dont restore on self.

Recon mine- wont actually fire the mine. Cooldown still effective. Character animation works, actual mine doesnt pop out.

General bugs i notice since i only play volus eng...

Two things that - I think - haven't been mentioned yet and do happen in my experience:

- Hurricane will off-host auto-reload after firing only a few rounds from a full magazine,  though I haven't seen this with other guns, but I'd like to know if this happens to others as well.

- Cover penetration will randomly not work at all off-host, e.g. you can't shoot an enemy with a BW and HVB even through thin cover.

This is only the latest of many similar older bug threads (megathreads, which in the past had many, many more posts) that pop up every couple months. Sadly, nothing but some administrative posts are stickied on BSN, there's no way to filter threads by stars, and the search is... less robust than it should be.  The amount of useful information buried in the forums are staggering, though - the main reason I started this site: https://sites.google.com/site/me3mpd to try to better track/collate this information.

Since the sticky policy hasn't/won't change, it's my hope that more people discover and participate in maintaining/growing that site so BSN can better collect useful threads...

Just a small bump and suggestion:

The Hurricane decrements bullets by increments of 2. Because the heat sink calculates a per-bullet save-percentage it is possible to have a single bullet left, which will not fire and will not automatically reload.


In my experience*, that is not true. Heat sink will always restore 2 bullets with the Hurricane. I only ever got stuck with 1 bullet left as long as my total spare ammo was an odd number, so the last magazine wasn't full.

It would be cool if somebody who can actually test this could clarify/check this.

*very generous use of the Hurricane, Heat Sink always equipped.

Firing the Krysae does not always turn off cloak. It's old, but I confirmed it happens with a FQI.

When I was playing as a Drell Assassin, I noticed I can switch weapons while rolling forwards. It doesn't play the animation, you just have the other weapon in your hands as you're standing again. I haven't tried this with other characters.

Enemies that get stuck in spawns on reactor can be affected by the hosts powers (at least it worked with reave when I was hosting)

SO Many bugs  We should chip in and call Orkin?  Seriously, the bugs are starting to REALLY sap the fun out of the game for me.  Seems even worse lately.  Is the AI cheat mode enabled?

I got grabbed 5 times last night by Banshees who teleported 100 feet at a time whenever they saw me.

 

The most blatant of these was on Jade.  She was the last enemy of the Wave, she was ACROSS THE MAP, and moving away from me.  I watched her teleport away and to the left, and rematerialize RIGHT FRICKING NEXT TO ME on the bridge.  Fortunately I was on the stairs so I got away.

 

I wonder how many other times this has happened.  Everyone seems to be getting grabbed more lately

Good to know.

 

We got an unkillable Nemesis at the end of wave 2 on Glacier yesterday.

 

She eventually fell through the map though.

Over the last month or so, I sometimes haven't received XP, credits, or Galaxy At War rank points. The game will tell me I've gotten them, but the actual scores will not increase. This has happened at the end of matches, and after promoting character classes. (Kinda miffed about not getting that 10 points last time I promoted my Sentinels.)

With volus, i always get bug. Key is not working till dead. Can't shoot, can't attack anything but just changing view.

I've been playing Cabal Vanguard for two days.

 

Two times so far, I do a teleport dodge and get stuck.  I cannot move at all, getting sync killed doesn't even fix it.  While in spectator mode, I can't even rotate the camera.  After the second time it happened I think I have a good idea of what causes it.

 

A Brute was charging me, so I dodged to the side.  It still hit/staggered me, but since I was halfway through the teleport animation, I never "unstaggered" myself.  This was off-host, of course.  I don't know if it happens on host, but my suspicion is that it does.

List bugs is good but may be a little less useful since ME4 will use a different engine.

That is why we need a comprehensive list, to ensure that none of the current bugs are omitted from the new engine

 

Some of them are easy to overlook, after all
