 hazard plus collectors now does not result in lag but a random hard freeze forcing a reset.  well done for fixing the normal maps,  we can now play 3 odd plat col games before we have to reset due to memory leak. the post applies to plat only

Meh, ps3 has got a better controller. I'd rather reset my ps3 once in a while then use a bad controller.

OT: Do collectors still freeze ps3's on gold? I want to be able to play u/u/g without my having to be afraid of a freeze...

Been playing for a long time , since release day, made a big pause , came back to it recently , months of gaming , not a single freeze on ps3.

Not once.

My ps3 is the launch fat model , statistically your 360 must have ROD at least 2 times by now.

Others do as well...it depends on how long the host has been playing I think...for example once a few waves in, giant hazard, total all 4 freeze with reapers

ok I don't know tech so ill assume ur right. But it seems like high memory usage is what has been plaguing ps3 anyway...

The whole time we played the Collectors on plat last night I didn't get a single freeze, lfc, although I got the extraction bug on Giant hazard against them on my last game yesterday - it's when the game doesn't end after the timer runs out.

The freezes seems to happen randomly now, at least for me, the latest patch doesn't seem to have made any difference whatsoever.

My suggestion: tell the whole team to back out right in the beginning if you get the hazard+Collector combo. A bit of a hassle, but I'd prefer taking a few minutes more to regroup than risk a freeze/dc and losing your credits. That, or pick your enemy and/or location.

ps. Have you received the missing creds from one of those games last night?

Yeah the fix had nothing to do with the PS3

Bioware please give us a response, i will give you credit, you have fixed non hazard version of collectors, we can play that pretty much fine but hazard is a real life computer hazard now!

I'd spend that money on a graphics card for my pc, not on another rubbish machine that I have pay to get online with.
