Jade no-rockets is a bit rough, we don't really have a good strategy lol, we're just winging it atm. We've done about 3 runs, first two were 16 min disasters, third was 14:02, still a bit messy. There isn't a no-rocket run up for Jade platinum, so we're using Team Tron's 13:41 Goddess no-rocket run as a benchmark. Team setup is a bit experimental too:

VerySeed - N7 Destroyer Typhoon + Scorpion
chantheman - Reegar Kroguard
cricketer - Harrier QMI
me - Javelin GI

nice to know that we're all using different stuff as opposed to 4x GIs.

Sub 10 seems like a pipe dream for that map and no rockets.

ok we just figured out a good strat for no rocket jade, already did a couple of run with this although always get the disable in the middle of jade which just screws up so much. so with good objective sub 13 is highly likely to be achieved by us within the next few days :happy:.

Uggh I hate that objective so much. Only reason I haven't attempted a Jade solo yet.

Wave 10 + Extraction ONLY Video


Due to some lag problems I suffered unstable frame rate issues and almost lost connection at one point during the first 6 waves I alone cost the team about 33 seconds which would have made the time a sub 8 min run. We do aim to get sub 8 and hopefully this problem won't occur again.

A full video won't be released until we break into the 7min mark so please bear with us.

yeah for the jade run our best so far is 14:02 with no strategy, and even that had some dodgy parts to it. Low 13s are definitely reasonable at our skill level, maybe mid-high 12s if we put in some practice - clearly we haven't sacrificed enough virgin phantoms to the altar of the headshot god to earn human aimbot skills yet.

What makes an epeen thread has nothing to do with speed run times, pics, discussions, or videos.  That's all perfectly on topic discussion, and any who says those threads are epeen threads just for containing those are just jealous.

No, true epeen thread are easy to spot, it's the obnoxious amount of superfluous characters in the title meant to do nothing but say "hey come validate me", whether they be '********************', '$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$', or '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!', whether they be about speed runs or not.

Unless there's some inside joke now about using superfluous characters, then it's just circlejerking
