I simply cannot be nice to TIM. I completed ME1 with full Paragon. But I knew very soon in ME2 that would go downhill really fast because I just want to punch TIM in the face every time I see him. I want to slap that smoke right out of his mouth and take his lips with it. :innocent:
Why oh why must I be nice to TIM to save my paragon? I grudgingly bite my tongue until a certain point and then I just gotta go all Krogan and headbutt things. Anyone else feel the same?

But most of the time, Paragon options are calling TIM a liar and having Shepard say he can't trust him. Renegade is when Shepard claims that Cerberus is doing the right thing and the Alliance is not.

Exactly, Renegade is mostly being friendly to, and trusting him. Paragon, not so much.
