I downloaded the character creation demo last night to try to get that ring but I haven't gotten it after creating a character and starting a game with it.

Also I noticed that after I changed a character's hair I would be unable to edit their "mouth" and "jaw/cheaks."  If I want to change mouth and jaw first and then go back to hair it would reset the character's mouth and jaw to the first default settings.  It did this in the character creater demo and is also doing it in the actual game.  I haven't attempted to make a character since I made my Human Noble Artais back in November.  Is this a known bug?  If so how can I fix/avoid it or is there going to be a patch fix for it.  I'm almost done with my first playthrough and I'd really like to start a new character afterwords.

Thank for the help.

edit to fix typing error

For the ring, you have to upload the character using the creator.

The second issue is with beards. If you choose any beard (not stubble), then the cheeks will revert to a default shape and be non-editable. Only the toolset can really fix that.

..sorry double post

You may have to register your game on this site as well for the ring.

Thank you for the response. I created the character in the demo editor and then selected to import created character within the game itself and I have already registered my game here online. Is the cheek thing supposed to be that way or is it a bug? It's fairly annoying because with humans the cheek bone is so ugly in it's default settings.

You might, or not, I can't be sure, get better response in the forum set up specifically for the character creator and questions about it.

I'm having the same exact problem when trying to put the beard, it resets the cheeks mouth and jaw to default and doesn't let me modify it. Happens to human and dwarven male characters. Which toolset would solve this problem?

A two year old message is too old to dig out of the graveyard. If you can't find anything less than six months old, just start one of your own.
