 I have just completed BG1 again but this time when I check in the save folder the only thing in there is the Mission Pack save.

If I go back in to the game and go to the load screen several saved games are there, including Final Save and Auto Save and can be chosen and load correctly.

Where the heck are these games stored? I have tried searching my computer but no joy.

Please help!

 Sounds like you've got Windows Vista or 7 and installed to the default location. Go to where you think the games should be and then select the compatibility area as below.

Just for information this peculiarity occurs because of the way windows protects the program files location. If you install somewhere else, such as c:\\games\\BG you won't have that problem.

Other problems can also occur if you don't follow Grond0's advice.

e.g. Windows doesn't like you modding. it thinks that it's a virus.
