I was kicked last week, first time in.....well I can`t remember the last time I was kicked.

It was a gold search, it seems as I was joining, someone was leaving, so here I m in the lobby with an N7 of 1xx, CP of 2xx, however I has a level 20 Ghost with a Harrier X and Hurricane X, I always have equipment on before I press search, Incen III, AR II, Power Amp II and Warfighter V, .....kicked within seconds, so I just had to send a message asking what`s up.

Was informed my N7 and CP was not gold viable, I asked if he-she looked at my weapons and what the hell, my N7 means nothing and my CP is 30k, GT sent me an invite but I never went back.

sometimes if ppl are leaving and joining quickly in a lobby, you will end up with the last persons' N7 number and CP. if they saw you with someone else's points then that may explain it.

other than that Mus7ang, you're just overpowered and they thought you needed a nerf!!!

Several clear, concise, and simple anecdotal reasons reinforcing what I've always known: kicking people is a dumb thing to do, at least whenever I see someone do it.

You're at least as likely to do yourself harm, since you have no idea who the person you're kicking is, or what they can do.

Heck, maybe they would have been the future love of your life?

Now, kick-happy person, you'll never know...

So far iv not been kicked but iv had people run away pretty fast as I dont promote iv always go ta lvl20 character and I tend to favor UR weapons (Saber V, Talon VI, BW III, Wraith VIII ect ect) and people tend to assume that means im going to hog all the kills, yes granted the first five cannabals are fighting to get to see what one of them fits through the door first at spawn are all dying horribly but Im not zergin around the map to murderboat everything.

I saw 2 guys in a video doing gold, and both of them were lv 1.
Now explain that.

I think you missed the khannoir's sarcasm...

Rocking a lvl 10 Turian Soldier with a Vindacator X and a Hurricane II.  Got two insta crosses as soon as I saw myself in the lobby, and 10 secs later the third guy conceded and kicked me.  Also had higher N7 and Challenge ranking than all of them.  My question is...

Maybe you accidently creeped in before they could change it to private & invite a friend?

I joined a PUG Platinum lobby with my lvl 20 SI + Valiant. The first 2 guys on my team had lvl 20 Destroyer with Typhoon VI and AP rounds and lvl 20 Tsol with Piranha IX + disruptor rounds. Then there was third guy with a lvl 10 Volus Adept + Predator X and no equipment.

The Volus dude got 2 kick votes right away then pipes up 'ur gonna kick a guy who has more challenge points than all of u put together.' So i said ok lets give the hotshot a chance.

The Volus idiot spent more time on the floor than attacking the enemy. He came 4th on the scoreboard and i ended up trippling his score. Then it occurred to me, challenge points can all be farmed on bronze... =/ except Lone wolf of course.

Never trust an idiot with a crap gun and no equipment in a Platinum lobby.

I agree.  But this was silver...

I'd kick you too: Calz0ne = soggy-innard folded pizza= inferior.

Come to Scotland, you can get it dipped in batter with chips inside, for extra artery clogging soggyness.

Mathemagician. Two had Hero of the Last days and one had nothing, so don't think it was the banner.

I was kicked out of silver yesterday trying to level up my lvl 10 TSol. Had my Harrier X and LW banner > insta-kick.

That's nothing. Once saw two people trying to kick a N7 level 1 from Bronze.
Switched over to my most OP build and made sure those two idiots didn't earn one medal and where outscored by the newbie.
Got two kickvotes right after the game and just left Image IPB

I got kicked yesterday from a gold game when I brought in my level 17 Batdept. Been a while since stuff like that has happened to me though. If I get kicked I'm like fine, these guys don't deserve my help then.

Most likely, but its still not a nice feeling to get insta crosses with no explanation. :?

especially since they could have just created a private lobby

Some characters are perfectly fine as level 1 in Gold.  I always fo Gold as a level 1 to rank up to 10 or 11 (depending on the extract) quickly.  Usually either use an Infiltrator (Salarian or QMI) or N7 Destroyer because I can generally outscore my teammates with those characters even as a level 1.

Don't feel bad OP. A while ago I joined a silver lobby and immediately heard a guy say, "his hurricane is only level V, kick him!" and I was kicked in seconds. Sometimes people are weird, but there are always plenty of other lobbies.

They should have told OP over voice chat.

This is why my group says as much over the mic: "oh sorry, we've got another friend who wants to join and needs the spot, is it okay if you leave?"
If they don't leave, it is assumed they are muted, or maybe they don't speak English very well, so the host just quits and makes a new lobby.

Kicking players automatically implies they have done wrong, so if that isn't the case we rather just let them be. Also if we have two PuGs - we'll set Private in anticipation of one leaving, but if they both ready up, we'll start a new lobby rather than choose between them.

This is not as mind-boggling as getting kicked from a platinum lobby full of N7<65.
