Problem(s) With Four Quests... What To Do About Them?

1. Have 15 Corpse Galls in the quest inventory with no known purpose at this point. There are other items too but I mention only this one here/now.
2. Prince's Favor The First Task is messed up. I'm beyond this point and did not side with the Prince. After the fact I talked to both Lady Dace and Lord Helmi and Vartag is dead but the quest remains open.
3. Cammon's Lament... Talked to both Cammon and Gheyna and subsequently Cammon has disappeared. He may be off hunting since the forest is safe. But when does he return/does he return? Gheyna doesn't sound impressed or know where he is?
4. Lastly... The Hulla(sp?) and Elora. I couldn't figure out the cure and Elora is pissed and won't talk to the PC now. Any way to straighten this out?
If any/all of the above are broken at this point...
A. Can they be reset &/or repaired? If so please point me in the right direction. Or...
B. Can they be removed so they don't show up as an unfinished quest?
Thanks much...

2. The quest will remain open because you did not finish it. You needed to talk to Vartag to close it.
3. If you told Cammon you would get the pelt and bring it to him. He would take it ti Gheyna to prove his worth and the quest would close.
4. If Elora will not talk to the PC there is no way to close the quest.
No they cannot be removed without using a mod if it is available.

2. I talked to Vartag and nothing happened except a battle ensued where he was killed.
3. I offered to get a pelt for Cammon but he declined the offer. For a while they both sat stood doing nothing, then after the forest was cleared he disappeared. I assume he was off hunting.
4. Broken!
One of these days someone is going to put together a big RPG that will, if nothing else, offer a way to clean up the Quest log of broken quests since it seems impossible to avoid these sort of problems to date. It looks like I'll be playing out the rest of this game and the expansions and other DLC with at least these three quests remaining open forever. Unsatisfactory... so all I can do right now is complain? BoiWare has been in this business for some time (as has Bethesda). I'm really surprised there is no solution.

3. You should have gotten a dialog option that said Do you want to marry Gheyna? . He then accepts your offer to get the pelt.

2. Did you do any of Harrowmount's quests? If so Vartag thinks you have sided with Harrowmount and a battle ensues. You have to pick a side and do all the quests for that side otherwise one or the other will think you are betraying them.
If you have only done the first Harrowmont quest and your persuasion is high enough, you can convince Vartag that you only did it to spy on Harrowmont, you get new quests from Vartag then and play the double agent.

Ture, But it depends on when you try to recruit the dwarves. If you try it early in the game your persuasion may not be high enough. But the OP states she is beyond that point and did not side with the Prince. So the quest will always remain open.melkathi wrote...

For what it's worth, I had a few open quests that I suspected would remain open forever. They didn't, though. After returning to the caste at Redcliffe (after the Landsmeet) they were all pushed into the "Completed" section.

If you did neither, it's probably broken.
