Human noble is probably my favorite origin, but I like mages better for their specializations (being OP as hell)

I once tried to make an Arnold Schwarzenegger Shepard, he came out pretty well

2h?! That stuff is impossible to use, I sometime even switch Sten out of it its so bad

I love how connected HN is with everything but yeah mages are pretty much jack of all trades.

Nice. All I can get for my Shep's is not completely hideous. I had a hot one but ME3 pretty much shat all over his face. <_<

Faster 2HD mod and better 2HD talents. Cause yeah screw vanilla 2HD weapons that was hot garbage. Mods make it bearable. My warriors use 2HD and Alistair's ass dual wields cause screw tanks I 'll kill everything before it can kill me. :P

To veer even further off-topic, it sounds like Arnold loves Arnold movies. Cracked did an article recently on people who have meltdowns in DVD commentaries, and it sounds like Arnold turns into an exciteable four-year-old describing everything that's happening on-screen.

Re: 2h, use pommel strike as often as cooldowns allow. It kicks ass.

I never found 2 Handed bad, just lacking when compared to everything else.

I couldn't ever do CF, even though it was pretty interesting lol.

I sampled all the origins, head swam with ideas and I never had the time to execute any of them.

I always meant to have a romance with Leliana to full, best conclusion in the epilogue, but never did even though she's my favorite romance option. I did her romance in my first play-through since it just worked out that way, closest I've ever been to having chemistry with a romantic interest in a video game.  That playthrough was re-done later, so :/

On that note I wasn't bothered by any of the romantic interests in Jade. Just seemed fun to do, but not shallow.

It's pretty much DS. Smiling Mountain gave false advertising.

Also still makes me rage that the most CF action in the game (telling the girl to kill the slaver and earn her freedom) locks you out of the CF exclusive style (thankfully Jade Empire in Style fixes this by simply having you learn it by killing people who have it without taking hits). So much facepalming.

Aw.

I mostly loved it cause the whole turning evil mechanic XD the evil epilogues are so much better than the nice ones. (especially Sky becoming Death's Hand).

Making a human noble who married Anora was ..... oddly satisfying, poor Alistairr, the Free marches can be so cruel

My canon Shepard actually came out of ME3 looking fine, minus the horrific scaring, he's not winning beauty contests with that.

No fair, mods is HAX

I could never figure out how to match myself with the mage origin. The initial situation is artificial.

Dual-wielding rocks. Alienage elf warrior had a starsword and something comparably sweet in the other hand, in the end.

ME3 did the same thing to my femshep's face. My mshep turned out ok though.

The whole reason I never ended up finishing the Leliana romance is because of Anora, and my desire for power.  Also Anora isn't bad looking, interesting and strong personality, might not be a bad deal for the Cousland warden of mine if she isn't totally cold about it.

Never ended up playing a male character aside from being a Cousland, which I played through almost twice. Only played Alienage Female Elf for the other two play-throughs, one was a redux because I'd made weird choices in my first playthrough.

Sounds like he's the opposite of Michael Caine. Regarding the film Jaws: The Revenge, in which he starred, Caine said, "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

I had a HN who married Anora but then I backed out. Too much ice queen for his tastes.

XD

Pfft.

Oh I didn't mind so much you're just starting on your rite of passage and mages are pretty much DA's nukes.

XD least I'm not alone.

Ah
my Cousland had enough cold women in his life. Melting one Ice Queen
was quite enough thank you. Didn't help that she ran off with his kid.

Yeah though the OP way of keeping him is a tale of redemption (though also a bit creepy if you think too long on why your LI sticks with you).

@Deinon: ...link that mod?

@Steel: Yeah I don't mind Ice Queens (My favorite character in Persona 3 is Mitsuru after all) but I got my defrosting urges out of me with Morrigan. Didn't feel like starting up that mountain again.

Ahh, my Cousland wasn't compatible with Morrigan really. Although I'd planned on him romancing Morrigan at first.

Got halfway through a mage playthrough, intended to romance Leliana but ended up romancing Morrigan DX Mage origin made me feel pretty cynical lol. May not finish that playthrough but I did get further than with the others. I get into my characters too much.

I do like the gameplay as a mage. The rogue/warrior gameplay isn't a slouch though, melee combat is pretty well done in DA:O. I would favor it typically if it's not just standing around hacking away at stuff.

I loved the voice actress for femhawke. Enjoyed playing as her in DA2 and having her in the SW:TOR female agent storyline. I did like malehawke too.

None of the romantic interests really struck a chord with me in DA2. Sorta waffled between the two female interests and never really liked either enough, although I went through the motions and saw both storylines, at least in part.

I also followed the Anders romance story arc, when he betrayed femhawke she exiled him, but accepted him back for the final battle. I was thinking that they wouldn't be back together after that, but the epilogue said otherwise.

New vegas is too good for words.  If I had time to play games and do useful stuff too I'd play that non-stop for several runs.

I finally got the DLC's and the first DLC (where your brain is stolen and replaced) on its own was terribly long, beyond satisfaction but certainly no worse for tat.

Morrigan was interesting. I liked the friendship arc with her a lot, romance was touching, but never finished it myself.  Something about her just isn't romantically interesting.

The only thing I don't like about her is her politics.  She's more sane than most of the characters in some ways, but I strongly disagree with her stance in certain situations.  The Lothering merchant in particular.

I liked her mother.  Too bad SHE wasn't a romance interest! (joking)

I tested the Zevran romance but never got into that one either. I can understand his appeal, for that matter I can see Morrigan's romance appeal.

The others I liked.  Leliana, Alistair... was there another one? lol.  Maybe not.  I liked Wynne a whole lot though.

Yeah... I was kinda flabbergasted when she invited one of my wardens to her tent just after LOTHERING for crying out loud.

And I thought Liara was bad.

That's how Morrigan is. She sleeps with people playfully, not thinking anything of it. She fights her own sentimentality. Later on she gets upset at the relationship being serious for her.

Still, the way she flirts annoys me.  The way she reacts to genuine friendship is touching.

ME2 Tali was way too forward, not because of how the romance was written but because of the timing and lack for anything else that she had to say while aboard the Normandy.

Oh I just prefer Zev's romance over his friendship. I'm not that fond of Zev period.

Nope there were just four LIs. Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana and Zevran.

And yeah Morrigan's "I didn't think friendship with a man was even possible." Hit my feelz.

Though with Morrigan at least it's sensible why she'd do that and there's no shy virgin "OMG She has to have your sexy virile self right NAOW1111!!!" and tru wub undertones.

"It's cold in my tent all alone."

"Then get a thicker blanket." <- favorite rejection line ever.
