Power evolutions that you think that are useless. Also the ones that should be reworked.

Passive: That % Weight reduction. You don't need it. Either skipping or that weapon damage are better Options.

Fitness: Rank 5 & 6 Synergy tree. Killing something with heavy melee is nearly impossible on most characters (exceptions: Krogans, Slayer, Shadow, Drells)

Proximity Mine: Rank 6. Way too expensive only for speccing damage or recharge Speed.

I agree that duration is better on some Infiltrators, for example the Javelin GI (enough damage already), but on some of them I wouldn't ever skip the damage evolution.

Especially on the Huntress.


This. On the AH; always go for the damage, DC is a kill everything button with that evolution. For the duration option I always go for the QMI.

Stasis sorely needs an armor slowing evolution. I'd take that instead of no cool down chance or reduced cool down.

A number of them are rather selective too. Quarian females and only SMGs.

I'd say the heavy melee 5/6 evolutions are very good for the Cerbguard.

Was just listing some of the characters who are good with, not all (poor brackets need a break, don't they) Image IPB?

Sure, I'm not saying all of them are any good. The Quarian one is quite useless, yes.

But I've seen people generalizing on them a lot, and thus including some of them which are actually useful.

On the fury, for example, taking both power speed evos on DC and throw allows you to use a pretty heavy loadout and still retain a good CD on your BEs. To me, that is much more useful than the other evo.

The lift mechanic on lift grenades needs to be reworked. It needs to lift all unshielded enemies in the radius and trigger all BEs not just certain ones. Cause the way it is now, the duration and the slam evos are not really worth taking.

I think that the weight reduction evolution is pretty nifty on Batarian and Volus Vanguards.

With the Brawler I want to get as many melee kills as possible, so I take the Raider weight reduction over weapon damage, and on the Volus my weapon damage bonuses are pitiful already, so I prefer reducing the cooldowns to the ridiculous levels.

I'd rather have them altered entirely, the lift function is just plain stupid. Lift Grenades kill unprotected targets anyway.

Yeah this.

33% chance to not trigger a BC cooldown, sacrificing 50% barriers restored.

You charge into a group, with your fingers crossed, basically.

Well when I put a claymore on Kroguard, this 33% chance is really usefu since his barriers are awesome anyway.

The recharge speed gets more useful when you are not getting -200% recharge like everyone probably does.

Hardening and Duration in Adrenaline Rush. Hardening doesn't make a big difference because you only have 800 shields and duration is bad because you can't spam Adrenaline Rush as often.

Vulnerability instead of bubble for Stasis.

Damage for Warp/annihilation field.

Duration instead of radius for Reave.

Recharge speed for pretty much anything, but especially for Marksman instead of accuracy and ROF bonus.

if the leaked DLC is correct and there is ultra light materials for shotguns, snipers and assault rifles, passives rank 6 weight reduction will become completely useless for all characters.
but on the other hand, i cant wait to use the black widow as a side arm Image IPB

Oh right, because a 10% more weapon damage will be better than the 25% you can get from a mod different than ULM. Yeah :P

There are a lot of power recharge speed options I think are useful. The things I don't ever find useful are passive rank 6a weapon weight reduction, and pretty much any power option for a percentage/chance to not trigger a cooldown.

Lift grenade - rank 5 power duration over 2 extra grenades - who would ever take "duration" over extra grenades? idk
Cluster grenades - damage to lifted targets. Needs to be reworded to clarify that it actually does extra damage to primed targets.
Blade armor needs its melee damage returned description totally reworded. It makes no sense.
