OK, so we can do it in a lobby if everyone agrees the player doesn't have what it takes to contribute to the effort.

However, what if the weak player passes the lobby screening, but turns out to be a drag on the team.
More like an inside (wo)man for the enemy that just makes things difficult for the others.
How could we get rid of such a player during a match?

Glad you asked.

Firing squad friendly fire. Player can take (lots) of damage if the other three shoot him/her at the same time.

That wouldn't work because nobody would be able to coordinate that well.

Because, you know, this game doesn't have any text chat or voice commands

How would you determine the *weak link* during a match?

Use the weak link as a decoy. Very effective.

No!! a magic banshee spawns thats 3x the strength in a gold game and the weakest link MUST fight it with ONLY a knife to see if they can stay

There are more than one weak links in the team if one player's inability is dragging the whole team down, unless it's deliberate griefing like picking up pizza and not delivering it, in which case you can just report.

lol. This would be giving the ME3 multiplayer population an ultimate power in game- friendly fire kicking out the "weakest link" ? I foresee- massive increase in rage quitting, top players getting booted constantly, people getting kicked out of Bronze and Silver for no reason they are just learning to play. Basically: hell fire and brimstone.

NO.

If the other two share your point of view, yes.

On second thought, NO, I'd be immune 'cause I gave the idea.
Soooooo, everyone but me and I would be able to singlehandidly do it.
Yes, that's how it would work.

You wouldn't. putting that ability in the hands of the playerbase would only lead to dickery of the highest order.

There's a reason why friendly fire isn't on. If it were, then it would be the PvP mode that everyone's been asking for. Now you know why PvP shouldn't exist outside of a star wars battlefront 2 mod.

If this was implemented, I would dodge their bullets with a Drell of Vorcha, all while carrying the match.

Also, this must include the option to attack the firing squad. Don't ****** off the Krogan!

The only thing they can practically do is to alter the way that the inactivity kick system works (if it's even still a feature - I haven't seen anyone kicked from the game in a long time) so that leechers and AFKers can't simply twitch the stick every 90 seconds to stay in the game.

Activating friendly fire or allowing people to kick once the game has started is not a good idea.

I agree, and everyone who says this is a horrible idea that would be abused is bad and should feel bad.

Heh I guess you have not been around online gaming circles for long if you think a tool capable of griefing will not be used as such.
