1 Ring slot? That blows. I guess the characters only have 1 finger in the game.

21 talent points does not seem enough. My bet is there will be ways to get a few more.

Thats Combat Training (3 also gives a small bonus to attack and 4 a small bonus to armour and attack)

Combat Tactics determine how many AI Tactic Slots you get:

Level 1: One additional combat tactics slot
Level 2: One additional combat tactics slot
Level 3: Two additional combat tactics slots
Level 4: Two additional combat tactics slots

Mages start with level one

(this is from the CC)

Rogues should, they are skill based if anything.

Warriors should get one talent per level, since there is a plethora they can choose from and most likely need them for staying alive and tanking.

Mages should get 1 per level and every 5th level they get a bonus spell. This might explain the gameplay video.

Ok so I have been digging on the forums trying to get a straight answer for this and not having much luck so I thought I would try again here to see if anyone had some clear info.

I have seen everything from 3 stat points per level to 1 stat per level
I have seen 1 talent and one skill per level to one talent per 2 levels and 2 skills a level.

I looked at this level 22 charector social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php and did some stat calculations myself

Making a dawrf commoner rouge in the CC nets you 79 stat points and at end game the one mentioned above had 159 stat points at level 22. This is a net change of 80 points over 21 levels which works out to 3.8 stats gained per level but doesn't take into account specialization bonuses so I am pretty sure that is 3 points per level plus the odd specialization or quest gain.

For talents and skills is there any informaiton out there with a confirmed per level advancement?

Hahaha I thik Chris is hiding his best gear from us there's no way that's level 22 gear or I'm not an alienImage IPB

Did something change recently? I thought rogues got 1 skill point per level and all others got a point every other level. However on the WIKI it now says this:

Many skills also require a specific number in a related attribute in order to unlock them. rogues receive 1 skill point every 2 levels, while warriors and mages receive 1 skill every 3 levels.

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Skills

Which is totally different and means much LESS points. Is the Wiki wrong or the forumites wrong?

THIS is how it is:

+3 attribute points every lvl for everyone
+1 Talent point every lvl for everyone
+ 1 Skill point every 2 lvls for Rogues
+ 1 Skill point every 3 lvls for Mages/Warriors

It's also not true either. You get two ring slots, they're just not showing on the profile pages yet, probably because this site is still in beta.

Is there any way to just level your character and not have to put a spell on?  Meaning just leveling your stats and not assigning a spell.  Don't want to waste a spell on something I don't want and don't have  high enough magic yet.
