no gameplay required, a free addition a la the EC, short and sweet no 2Gig stuff, would silence many not all but many, and would be ACTUAL CLOSURE FOR DESTROY ENDERS.

If your love interest is present on earth during the final mission, whoever that may be, could find you/locate you/etc.

If you don't have a love interest maybe EDI, James, Joker, Aria, Liara, Javik, etc. could find you/locate you

Why would that be so difficult to implement via free add on or patch or whatever?

What about Control and Synthesis Enders? Well Shepard is dead in those endings so they are good to go, those are solid but destroy is still up for grabs and to do this for destroy would not add gameplay just cinematics period. So destroyers would get a little more meat Control and Synthesis are pretty final not to much you can do with those two and atleast those endings don't leave you hanging.

And then Bioware could continue with whatever gameplay oriented dlc the want in peace. Why leave your fanbase hoping for something that will never be? All endings would have closure at that point why not? Bioware has said numerous times that the endings are final but yet many not all still hope for a big reveal or something, by simply adding a simple cinematic like this it would solidify the endings once and for all without much effort or drastic change to what is already there.

It just does not make any sense. Why not do this?Posted Image

They won't make a DLC for just one ending

'Simple' doesn't even come into it. There's a significant part of people dissatisfied with the endings that wouldn't be appeased by this. The game has ended. Try to enjoy what you have.

And I like that you included EDI in that list.

they ran out of crayons so they cant make more "art" to shield their integrity

note for future development - when ya eat your crayons they dont last long and the only product is that you poop rainbows (as proven by the "ending"). so dont let casey and mac eat them for future games. that or buy toxic ones.

There are a multitude of ways in which Bioware could have simply given an element of closure/exposition for breath scene that would have integrated it into destroy epilogue properly.

However obviously Bioware considers only dead sheps worthy of closure and exposition as of EC. Appalling decision.

Not everyone wants that. And will you stop posting the same toxic ending stuff over and over. Nearly as bad as Jade

All the three endings received an epilogue in EC, and that's how it is supposed to be. No ending should receive special treatment in detriment to others.

Oh, you, OP with your crazy expectation of "clarity" and "closure" in an ending that promised them.

Shepard exists because they allow it and will end because they demand it. the player never really had any "choice" in the matter.

All endings could use more expansion.

Destroy: What happens to Shepard and his/her friends? Does Synthetic life have a future? Is Reaper Indoctrination still an issue?
Control: How will Shepard VI use its power? What happens to Shepard's friends? Is Reaper Indoctrination still an issue?
Synthesis: What happens to the Reapers? Are they free now? If so, how will they behave? Is Reaper Indoctrination still an issue?
Refuse: What happens to Shepard and his/her friends? What does the Galaxy do after the Crucible failed? How does the current cycle end?

Everyone knew ME3 was the last game with Shepard before release, if I'm not mistaken.

THE CYCLE HAS CONTINUED FOR LONGER THAN YOU CAN FATHOM. PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Also; Bioware wants you to pick synthesis because its synthesis and the Catalyst is right.

They should have had Shepard die in the Destroy ending.

Nope High EMS destroy didn't receive an epilogue. it received an insult. Dropping the breath scene at the end like a piece of garbage whilst the lieks of control got shepalyst narration and memorial. Disgraceful.

There is no "bad" version of Synthesis
The Catalyst, who is our designated Exposition Dump, calls it "the ideal solution"
It has the highest EMS requirement to unlock save the breath scene easter egg
EC's description has the galaxy ridiculously over-the-top happy.

Pretty clear everyone is supposed to want the Synthesis ending.  This and the lack of closure for live Shepards kinda says something about how Bioware completely misread its own audience.

We'll see what happens with the last SP DLC but put plainly.....no reunion/rescue scene means I and many others will be done with BioWare for good....no DA3 no nothing, finished. At best I might buy used copies of their games and never any DLC to ensure they don't make one further cent from me.

No amount of shining reviews or awards EA can buy is going to change that.

That's not admitting to screwing up, that's saying "the audience doesn't get it.  Here let me explain it to you in more detail and smaller words"

read their statement

"we are sorry YOU did not feel the ending was up to par and it hurts us"

If you apologized like that for something you did wrong, as a child, what would your mother tell you?

Because they don't want it?

Really, if they want to make it more then glimpse of hope, ?Shepard? woudl lie on back with his face visible at first place.

It was the same treatment that the other endings received, plus the additional breath scene already presented in the original high EMS Destroy, and I can assure you they not intended to make anyone feel insulted. You feeling insulted is only due to your own view of the matter.

Story-wise, it made perfect sense to have Hackett telling what happened after Shepard chose Destroy. As it did when Shepard IA himself/herself/itself did so in Control, and EDI in Synthesis.

Why are the players considered the parent(s) in this situation?

And should creators not stick to their guns?

you misinterpreted the analogy, the players are not the mother they are just someone the devs (child) are apologizing to. If I passed an apology like that I know my mother would tell me "do it again and do it right"
