I just acquired my 66th supply with the help of the Black Emporium, this was meant to be my last trophy prior to the platinum popping up. Surprise! Neither of the two popped up! I guess using the Black Emporium truly does glitch this trophy and I won't be holding my breath for a patch either.

Do not use the Black Emporium to purchase any supplies as it will glitch the trophy.

I bought like 5 different resources during Act 2 and 2 during Act 3.

So, you missed the resources during the quests? The wiki suggests that only one of each variety is counted for all purchases from black empo.

and a patch states that as long as you have 66 or more resources, it should pop up, which it doesn't, I have all.

Well, I'm sorry to say that the patch note for 1.3 regarding the supplier achievement is somewhat misleading. Even if you buy every resource in act 2, you'd still need to find the resources from merrill, anders, and isabella's personal questlines in act 3 to get the achievement. For instance, if Isabela doesn't return in act 2, you'd never find ambrosia; so even if you collect 66 resources, you won't unlock the achievement.
Moreover, an extra spindleweed is always available in the empo, buying which may glitch out the achievement.
It is probably easier to find all the resources on the quests rather than buying them. Also saves your gold.

I got the three resources from the npc's personal quests without buying them off the emporium. I'm redoing the Legacy dlc right now and once I finish it I'll go back to the emporium see if I there's any other supply I can purchase. Maybe if I have 67 it'll pop up. I did every single main quest, side quest, rumor, and companion quest in the game in this my 4th playthrough. I think it'll do a fifth playthrough though cuz I want Bethany to become a Grey Warden and I'll make sure I'll get all the supplies on that one.
