Isn't hype the reason they keep releasing screen shots and hints about it?

Though it does speak volumes for the quality of the work up to date that we're now told to lower our expectations or be disappointed.

Speculation based on official info - but none of these faith based "I truly believe we will get X dlc"

In that case there shouldn't even be any discussion based on the very little official information that has been released.  Being excited about the upcoming DLC and speculating what it might be is not overhyping.  If you don't like the "overhyping" that is going on these forums, you don't have to join in the discussion.
