Ok during the N7 weekend I notice someone fire a missle and miss. To me I was like what a newb he fired 1 and

missed then fired another one that hit. Not to long ago I noticed it happened again only the 1st one hit the target but

nothing happened but the second one killed. When that person lost connection to the game I noticed that he was

host. As the wave resetted I was host and when I tried to missle a phantom and Atlas the first missle missed at point

blank but the second one killed. To sum it all up it seems to be a new glitch that makes it where the 1st missle fired

by host will miss. Has this happened to anybody else after the 1.05/1.08(ps3) update?


[b]Edit: ok so the 1st guy I don't know if he hit with the first missle but I know the second did it's job

the 2nd guy I stood right infront of the Atlas as it took the missle to the face and all that happened was the missle

blew up doing no damage to the Atlas. He fired a second shot hitting it at the same spot then it blew up.

As for me I fired at the GROUND at a Phantom and Atlas and nothing happend fired the second then they died.

Also to point out this was NOT at a start of a wave.

p.s. The title fits as it is a glitch with the missle

Not a PS3 player, but I near-fatally missed two rockets in a Collectors Gold match from earlier. One of them was trying to hit two Praetorians sitting right next to each other, but it hit the guard rail right in front of me, and the second was to try and nuke a spawn, but it hit a barrel that I didn't see because of the acid rain (Ghost Hazard, obviously).

You know, that did just happen to me when I was hosting a few minutes ago. Could've SWORN I hit that big group of scions and praetoeans but nothing happened. I actually assumed I missed somehow. Second one got 'em.

I still think it's possible that I missed but it might be worth investigating.

The host lagging on himself? Doesn't seem likely.

But I've not noticed this at all. Try to aim your missiles at the ground by their feet. They often miss if you fire directly at them.

If you can, please change your thread title. It's incredibly misleading and unnecessarily alarming to many.

Now, to address your real topic of concern: I just made note of a similar issue while hosting a few games within the last hour or two. On Reactor Hazard/Reapers/Platinum, I fired a missile at a pair of Atlases among other enemies standing in the center of the reactor. It directly impacted the Atlas closest to me and killed everything around it, but the Atlas it directly impacted was left unscathed. Not a single bar of shields was removed. And it wasn't a different Atlas that had respawned, unless Atlases spawn already firing a missile at another player, mid-animation.

Later that match, the same thing happened to a pair of Geth Primes. It impacted one directly and killed the other, but the first Prime walked away untouched. Bizarre.

1st guy fired at a wall 2nd guy hit it in the body (right beside it when it hit) and myself I fired at the ground and just like them only the second shot killed.

I haven't had this problem on or off host. As has been said, it's probably lag. Or poor aiming.

I know... I heard said rumors last Friday. The patch came out on Thursday. I gotta hand it to those cheating bastards, they work fast.
