Romanced Allistair, Zevran.

Got Morrigan's, Allistairs, and Shale's fourth tier inspiration abilities (magic / constitution / str).

300 some odd codexes found.

Every single side quest done, everyone that was possible.. for instance in choosing a king, you can't do a few from the other king's side. Even did every codex quest, adventure bodies / body parts / topsiders hilt / jammers cache, etc. etc.

Traveler achievement.

Normal Difficulty.

I also skipped all the dialogue, as I found it boring to listen to a 2nd time.

So I guess dialogue takes up 60 hours, so the game only has 10-11 hours of gameplay lolol.

Don't get me wrong I love dragon age, I am about to do another playthrough, but I just found it funny. I wonder how many hours is actually spent listening to dialogue.

This was also on console with dexterity bug, so I went archer rogue, full cunning build. enough dex around 27 or so to use farsong with equipment + tomes in circle tower.

Heres pictures to prove since everyone seems to request it

I am working on a way to record a runthrough as well

Oh and Shale is ridiculously over powered. Whether you make him a tank, or raw str damage.

The meat of the game is definitely in the dialouge and the story. I spend far more time exploring areas to find new people to talk to than I do anything else. If you just took every encounter in the game and strung them one after another, yeah... it would be about 10 or 11 hours. Which is about as long as some action games, so you still get 60+ hours of story on top of that! Pretty great deal.

Cool. Hope you enjoyed it even playing that fast. I'm not a fan of speed runs, though.

Of course dialogue and story takes up a lot of time, they do in all Bioware games. Do you think you stumbled onto some new revelation or something?

Really? I found I had 11 hours at least of travel time alone and loading, don't know how you did it then.
My best is 42 hours skipping 3/4's of the dialogue.

But I also got all my companiosn to friend, found about 100 more codex entries. I doubt you did all side quests, because of 1) travel time alone. The abondoned building in Denerim (with all the blood mages) I pretty much just cruised striaght through without stopping (except for the one room with three mages (one being a lieutenant) on easy and it took me 45 minutes alone. And I'm not kidding, I literally did not stop, didn't even wait for health regen. Then defending Redcliffe took 20ish minutes just waiting for the mobs to appear. So that is already one hour for two quests.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game, working on my next runthrough right now. I just found it interesting that skipping dialogues led me to 11 hours.

It also allowed me to get the warrior and mage achievements in the past 2 days.

Well, skipping the story and character interactions is skipping the best of the game, but if you want to do that, sure. You could also only read the last chapters of books and save a lot of time, or just watch the end of movies. ;) You know that you can make the dialogue play out very differently by making different choices, right?

I'll get one up tonight. I am about to do a run with a melee rogue, str build, I'd do alot more damage than I would as a ranger. I wanted to wait to do the melee rogue run, as I wanted to do return to ostagar during the playthrough, and not after ;/ but I don't know when thats going to get released.

I watched the dialogue the first time I played, which took 27 hours or so, with world traveled at 94%

I refuse to believe it till i see a screenshot of the time and level ;) Because yeah, I'm on an awesome PC so I have no load time lag, and travel time alone (even with haste) is about 10 hours worth. I timed myself once with haste. Starting from anvil of the void and running (with haste) all the way back to Orzammar took 15 minutes. So fighting through that is a while.

I assume the feat's been achieved on your mage. No offense, but until his story get uploaded correctly, there is no proof to back up your claim..strange that it stopped updating after 31 minutes in game.

Even if you were this *cool*, well, good for you. :)

And it wasn't exactly a "im rushing for time", I was casually playing, I opened up all chests, discovered any codexes I could find for XP, did every side quest, as that's what I enjoy doing. My fav being assassinating people for trial of crows. And got the traveler achievement to boot.

It's just this playthrough I opted to just press the x button on the xbox everytime someone would speak, so I didn't have to go through them talking again.

Well I could see it being kind of fast, X-box normal is PC easy. So who knows. But I am usually a very very open-minded person, and I seriously rolled my eyes at 11 hours.

Which char? There are only two at the appropriate level. One of them finished in ~21 hours, the other's story is stopped at 0:31.
