Not to hijack but the N7 armor is going to be boss.  I plan on doing solo first and then I'll explore co-op eventually.  I wish they had a multiplayer mode similar to ME3.  Alas...

If you do not have a maxed manifest, seems like a better idea to spend it all before the DLC so you have a smaller pool of weapons to pull and a higher chance of maxing those weapons... Although if you want to open everything new, hoarding makes sense.

I'll start saving when my manifest is maxed (just one more Typhoon upgrade to go for that)

I have plenty of equipment in stock and can always play some silvers if I get low

If someone is in that position of wanting a higher chance of getting the weapons/characters from a new DLC then they always have the option of deleting the other DLCs and mass buying packs which will only have the new DLC and original character/weapons in them. This is better for those with a decent internet speed and a lenient or no download cap.

I just started on PC so until I max rares (I still have barley any unlocked), saving is pointless. As for XBox, well, I only play it for the Weekend Ops now so that explains itself.

You sound like me.  But I'm still working on maxing out my Xbox manifest.  I'm slowly getting them.  I might start saving them if I don't need anything.  Which I'm far from saying that.
