I bought the game Dragon Age and I made it to a quest that seems to have a problem with it. During the Quest "Something Wicked" in the city of Denerim I am unable to complete the quest because once I beat the demon in the first building with Ser Otto and he tells me that there is more in the next building over I try to leave, but all of the doors are locked. At this point I am unable to leave the building at all and have to quit the current game and restart the game. I tried to complete the quest many different times and the same thing happens every time. Another weird thing happens during this quest as well. Once you beat the demon the same movie scene plays over and over again (the scene that place when you first enter the room to fight the demon). I wanted to know if this is
supposed to happen and if not how I can go about getting it corrected?

That is not supposed to happen, sounds like it may be a quest killer, don't know if it can be fixed but you may just have to skip the quest.

This is a bug I ran into myself. The way to fix it is to reload an earlier save, before the fight in that room. Then go back to that room, and when you finish the fight, do NOT click on Ser Otto to talk to him. Wait around for a few moments, and a dialog will trigger automatically. Then you should be able to continue.

It's a bug linked to something that happens on most other quests (most infamously, the ones in the Fade). It has to do with you talking to the NPC that triggers the quest when you think it's completed, but it really hasn't. After everything's cleared, just wait for a while, and a) a cutscene will play, or
your quest log will update.
In this case, it's a.
