Nope. Garrus, Jacob and Miranda are the only viable choices I believe. It makes sense- Zaeed is adept at keeping Zaeed alive, rather than others!

I doesn't. I naturally picked the mercenary legend/founder of Blue Suns over Miranda and Garrus and got Tali killed in the process. Needless to say, I had to reload. Tali doesn't die. Ever.

Not true, I've had him take a team before and they survived..

edit: Dw, I had him take Chakwas and the other members back to the Ship, that's what I'm thinking of... I loved him for that role.

That was a bug, doesn't always happen. And when it did, I just reloaded and took him with me to the Reaper boss battle, prevents him from dying.
