The biggest problem with the single player section, is there aren't that many threads dedicated to "Strategy Guides".

The threads I have collected do however provide good information.

Also check out Danny Boy. He has Videos for every class.
Having trouble, check them out.

I think the lack of many SP guides is because you pretty much max Shepard out. Really, it just comes down to picking your least favorite power and putting only 4 levels in it with everything else maxed out. It ends up being very little variation, even when different evos are chosen for powers.

Still, I appreciate the work you're putting into this. It's good info.

Oh this is great.
I don't have to do a multiplayer compilation. HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF.

Oh yay, I love looking at class builds and discussing these things with people. (So long as I don't get the "you're playing the x class wrong" responses, I hate those. Its an RPG and I can play x class any way I want.) Having one source that provides links to various threads is great.

Would it be possible to add a section for squadmates builds? (if there are any decent threads with advice). I always have zillions more questions about the using the squad to their fullest potential then I do for Shep.

Hmm.

That is a really good idea.


I'll make a search!

I am annoyed. Every time I add new links, some of the old hyperlinks disappear.
Which means I have to go back to BSN's search bar to look for them.

Another point. Please could people use proper spelling in the names of threads?
The search bar only takes into account precise letter by letter results and rules out slight deviations in spellings.


So for example if someone has mispelt "Soldier Guide" as "Solder Guide" it literally won't come up.
A brillant thread with perhaps the best soldier discussion around will not be found in my search.

I know that singularity can now handle multiple detonations (instead of just one).
I've noticed that fire explosions are easier to pull off.

"You're playing class x wrong" tends to apply when you have a limited number of attribute points. If you're stuck on a section and your build is poor, that statement applies.

Mass Effect 2 & 3 are both generous with the attribute points, so this is less of a problem.

Most people, especially on game forums, tend to give advice from a maximum efficiency standpoint. Not using a class's best powers is not going to be efficient.

But in a single player game, efficiency be damned. Do what's fun for you. Nobody else has to live with it. When getting advice here or on any other forum, take from it what fits you and ignore the rest.
