Last night playing with some friends the idea came up of having a spectator mode like for people on your friends list who don't have the game and yet and want to see live gameplay or friends who can't join your game due to it being full.  Those would be the only way it could work and only work for your friends list.  I think it would be a great idea.  You'd also be able to communicate with your friends in game and that's it.  Anyone else think of this?  Good or bad idea?
